I had to give this lovely place a early review as already my health has already improved and bearing in mind that I have only been with this practise 3wks. Only been seen by two doctors who are both as lovely as each other. I truly believe that if I had been at this practise instead of the last practice I was at, I think that I would of been a lot more confident and quite a bit healthier. Was with my last practice for over 3yrs and my health and confidence is clearly worse. There was always a problem and they were solely focused on administration part rather than my actual health. Going back to this picturess practice, even the staff on reception desk are amazing, they too couldn't do enough for me and they worked very hard and simply quick to get my notes back from my last place so the doctors there could do my medications ect. I wish I had been with this practice for the last 3 a bit years as I know for a fact that I wouldn't of been so I'll with stress as I feel they would never of done half of what the last practice has done to me. I don't have any fears of being bullied or anything anymore which just that within its self will help improve my confidence I need to deal with my very complicated and serious health conditions. This practise is slowly but surely giving my confidence, faith and trust back in the g.ps of this world. Thank you very much London rd practice xxx

Since the 3 GPS have come together it has been one problem after another and spoken to wonderful by some reception staff and others are rude and don't listen to what you are saying and act like they don't care at all!
Never had a problem with London rd when was on its own at all and the one star is purely for the staff who do make a effort and care about what they are doing the rest need to get another job or start to To talk to people with the same respect they are given.
Ok will be changing my GPS it's a shame really is.

Canterbury Medical Practice is a joke. It's not the first time we had problems with lost urine samples for a pregnant woman, complaining about pain from the kidney sent home and then at the hospital they discovered a problem and now!!! 38°C feels like 42 and no fan in the waiting area and we've been waiting for at least 40 minutes to go in to see the doctor with a 6 week old baby and there is nothing they can do apparently. Avoid like the plague! Actually avoid all Canterbury Medical Practice surgeries. They have no clue.

The staff are great. But you can never get through on the phone to actually see or speak to any of the staff. This problem has been going on for so long, I'm surprised nothing has been done to resolve it yet. Such as getting in a couple more staff members to help with the phones. People do still have medical issues other than covid. But it feels like these have to take a back seat for the foreseeable future.

Misdiagnosed me with a lymphatic issue a few years ago instead of acute thyroiditis which got so bad I landed in A&E less than a week later after a resting heart rate of 120 bpm and almost collapsing, followed by hypothyroidism for a year and now discovering my levels are low again so may have to go back on meds for that, possibly for life.
A differential diagnosis should have been done and blood tests. I've since learnt my symptoms were classic signs of thyroiditis.
