It was my first ever time to visit the GP for gynaecology related issues, I was very anxious and overwhelmed with fear and uncertainty However I was fortunate to be seen by Dr. Mariam Saleem, she is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with. She is very Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative, patient and very caring ,I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in both talking about my concerns and receiving expert medical care. Her Colleague Dr.Jane was great, too. I Walked away, very impressed with the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend them both ♥️

Medical staff appear to do a good job, but the front end staff leave much to be desired. Coyly defensive, cunning (in the not so good way) and not happy to take responsibility.
Increasingly NHS is much about the admin stuff doing their basic job and when and if they want to. If they are asked to account for their actions you either hear paltry excuses that you are then rigidly and implicitly asked to believe and if you don’t then you end up being victimised by the admin staff as a whole. Or the whole of your issues are turned into “right for respect for staff human rights and freedoms” epic drama regardless of how the staff end up making you feeling including increasing the risk to your health, i.e. such lack of fairness. I haven’t been with this GP surgery that long (6-7 months) but can see the admin doing at least some of what is described above.
Respect, dignity and humanity are 2 way things.

I just want to say thank you to The doctor white. She has been so caring. She has been looking after me and my wife. She always call when I left a message in the reception. I will recommend anyone that join this GP to ask for her. Once again thank you.

I have recently moved and changed my GP to Villa Street Medical centre. I have to say, I am very impressed. The doctors and Nurses are all amazing.

Special thanks to Doctors and team for the care you showed while i was in pain and struggling. You guys showed that you enjoy what you do and care about your patients.

Villa Street is an excellent GP that I've been with all my life. Doctors, nurses and receptionists are always so caring - very easy to be seen by a Doctor or spoken to (within 24 hours), including home visits even on the day. Unfortunately I had to leave this GP due to moving out of area, but wanted to leave a 5* comment to recommend this GP to all, considering the new GP I moved to is completely incompetent! Villa Street is truly a patient centred medical centre and calls are answered so quicky, I rarely have to wait more than 2 mins. Other GPs with bad management only care about money/ business even at the expense of patients' health.

Great experience at this GP. Able to get appointments and the doctors are very considerate - in particular Dr White

Talked to one of the doctors yesterday and today I got my prescription. The doctor was very professional and helpful to sort out what the best initial management I can have for my concern. The staff of the centre are also nice and quick to respond, really fast turnaround time indeed.

Changed to this GP recently after moving house. Was nervous as I liked my prior GP and had a high bar on what I wanted. Have been impressed so far - the doctor listened and went beyond what I'd made my appointment for, taking a more holistic approach. My partner has been similarly impressed as this is the first practise that questioned a medication he'd been taking for years and sought to find a more appropriate long term solution (when they could have easily just repeated his prescription like every other GP over the past decade).

Availability of appointments is okay - they have a last minute appointment system if you call in first thing, for the next day. Have found you need 1-2 weeks notice for anything else but this approach makes sense given not everything is urgent.
