This used to be a good doctor surgery but after attending two recent appointments I am considering moving to another surgery. The doctors don’t care and are just interested in collecting their salary. I honestly wish we had a choice not to pay our taxes to this surgery. We know the government is a mess but where has the humanity gone with these doctors. I avoid going to the doctors or taking medication but when I am really ill will make an appointment. I have lost a lot of loved ones to illness or sudden deaths so when I get really poorly I want to ensure it’s not a serious illness and expect the doctors to help. Spoke to two doctors stating something is not right and was advised to monitor my symptoms and if it gets worse then come back. My family has a history of cancer and heart disease. The receptionists and nurses were lovely but honestly these doctors don’t care they only here for there salary and saving as much money for themselves. Plus they don’t offer a lot of services and not a lot of doctors so definitely not the greatest surgery definitely be changing. My only option now is to go A&E and pray I get to find out what is wrong before I end up having a heart attack or a serious illness.

Arrived on time for my appointment and still waiting 30mins later. Had to take time of work for this appointment as the system is a shambles and it's hard to get an appt. A patient arrived 10mins late for her appointment with the same doctor and has been taken in before me. (Even though she said she was willing to wait). I think that is ridiculous for the people who have bothered to leave earlier and get to their appointment on time. If that is how it works here then next time I won't stress too much if I'm running late :-)

Have been to aysgarth and Denham surgeries recently and have had face to face appts where I have been listened to, not rushed, by both nurses and the doctor and left reassured on all occasions. Receptionist was also helpful and guided me as to who I needed to see. No complaints from me. Excellent service.

I saw Dr Patel (female )yesterday, what a lovely GP, so caring and helpful, could not do enough for me. I would recommend her 100%.
The Receptionist who booked my appointment was so so lovely and polite and also could not do enough for me.
Long may Dr Patel and Receptionist reign.

I never usually write reviews online but today I could not be more upset, I grew up with a lovely GP, always took the time out to speak respectfully and felt like he actually cared. I've had only a few encounters with Aysgarth Medical centre and Dr Joshi & Dr Basi have always very accommodating and helpful, however, DR N PATEL, words cannot express this man he was very patronising when we had our first child, being new parents we were obviously unsure on certain things and looking for advice when my daughter broke out in a rash, to hear back "what do you expect, she's a new baby". Now My wife is heavily pregnant with our second child and finding it quite difficult, she had to plead with the reception to even speak with someone and when she received a call, DR N PATEL was rude, unhelpful and abrupt to her pushing her to tears. Whilst I understand doctors are under pressure at this very difficult time, it does not mean you speak to people how you want and with a lack of respect. I have put this on my social media and am receiving the same feedback from others that live in the local area.

Hi I have never posted before but I think I have to Mr P otherwise known as Dr Patel has been my doctor for years he is caring and always listening to my problems or issues and most importantly he will
. try and find a solution. And that's what you want from your doctor. Professional. The receptionist are the best especially Sasha I had to bring a gift to how nice she was.

Terrible place, Dr Patel is rude and arrogant, makes you feel like you're wasting his time, and the receptionists are literally the rudest people I've ever met. Now with covid lockdown you are lucky if they even answer the phone, at the time of writing this I have been caller number 1 in the queue for more than 35 mins, god knows how many people are waiting behind me but I feel sorry for them. Time for a new surgery I think
