They are very very efficient at responding to econsults and always book quick appointments where necessary. Dr Lui is always attentive and proactive. He never comprises the quality of our care despite the huge pressures on the National Health Service. I have known awful things to happen to people as a result of GP practises failing to deliver appropriate care in a timely manner. So having an amazing GP is very comforting.
My close relative works in healthcare regulation and reminds me often how lucky I am to have a GP that provides my family with such amazing care. This is a rarity nowadays, as a result of substantial cuts by government affecting the entire National Health Service.
I am an extremely happy patient and would recommend this practice to anyone.
Eventually After A Couple Of Minutes She Indicated Where I Needed To Go, A Feat That Should Have Taken 10 Seconds But Took Nearly 3 Minutes. Shocking Customer Service!
However, It Was A Different Story When I Got To The Eye Clinic. I Was Promptly Acknowledged And Seen On Time. The Gentleman Who Administered And Carried Out My Test Was In A Different League To The Receptionist. He Was Friendly, Helpful And Kept Me Well Informed Throughout The Procedure.
My Score Of 3 Reflects The Combined Experience Of Both Encounters Here. The Eye Clinician On His Own Would Have Got A 5 Star Rating. I'll Let You Work Out The Score For The Receptionist Alone!!!!!
Unfortunately, at other times, I found the opposite. Some examples are being told, regarding cancer medication and a repeat prescription that they had failed to fill-"Just because you're entitled to this medication, it doesn't mean you will get it".
I had a monthly implant administered at the surgery-sometimes I was instructed to collect this prescription-this often resulted in me being called in late, because the nurse was looking for the very same prescription that was in my pocket. On another occasion, I was clearly instructed not to collect it myself-when I arrived at the surgery it wasn't there and I was told to go to the chemist, collect it and return to the surgery...
The systems seem to be non-existent, the reception staff seem quick to blame the pharmacies and the bedside manner is erratic.
This is not a criticism of any particular individual.
Christine is also absolutely lovely and has been consistently extremely helpful over the past few months.
Would definitely recommend this practice!
