Brigstock Medical Practice

Really bad do not go to this doctor after being with them for over 10 years they have taken me off the register white out telling me and for no reason. There is a nurse there that told me to lose weight after 5 weeks of having my baby and keep going on telling me I am over weight. The only thing that keep me there for so long is Dr Roy and Dr Sathananathan they are the best

I've been going to this practice since I can remember. I don't get ill often but when I do I'm always surprised at how awesome the doctors, nurses and staff are here. Always hearing about how the NHS is struggling and local practices are failing but it's not really their fault and this practice has never failed me. If you call and explain the issue you're having they call you back, if they NEED to see you they'll make an appointment for you that day but sometimes seeing you in person isn't going to do anything but waste your time and theirs so they will do what needs to be done which is advise you to go to A&E or prescribe you meds to pick up. Some equipment they just don't have so you'll have to go hospital, not their fault so get over it. If they think they can help or want to have a close look before sending you to wait at A&E for hours then I think that's a better option than just bringing you in to keep you happy. They get a 5 star from me for cleanliness, customer service and courtesy. Cheers docs, nurses and staff.

After suffering badly with menopausal symptoms for a number of years, I finally met Dr Beagley, who prescribed HRT and gave me my life back. I can't thank her enough.

Kamala is a wonderful nurse, I had to have my dressing changed for a week and she makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. A great nurse!!!

I rung to speak to a Dr this morning, got an appointment with Dr Fletcher in the afternoon he was brilliant,very helpful and informative, I felt listened to and came out of the surgery feeling more positive about my situation.

A bunch of amateurs especially their receptionists. Making things as they go along and constantly lying to you and they aren't even bothered to do any work or help you out. And constantly complaing about work loads and wanting high salaries. All they are doing is just rinsing public money for nothing.

AVOID - should be shut down. I have been continuously been given false advice. My daughter was prescribed 3 different medicines because it caused her vomiting, we ended up in A&E only to tell us she never needed this medicine and was wrongly diagnosed. Another time she was given antibiotics, had an allergic reaction and surprise she had been wrongly diagnosed again! I was given medicine once for an issue I had and after having an allergic reaction I was told to keep using it until I ended up in A&E and was told to immediately stop my medication. Now I have been prescribed antibiotics which have done nothing for my current condition. My condition has in fact worsened and all they can offer is a lousy telephone consultation. I was diagnosed with a condition that doesnt match my symptoms at all. If the practice can't diagnose in-person on so many occasions then what could they possibly do in a call? This practice should be reported for patient negligence and I will be seeking a new GP immediately.

This place is disgusting and needs to be shut down. I had a appointment with “dr” Ellie Beale and it was honestly shocking. She rushed start to finish and when I asked her a question she told me to book another appointment EVEN THOUGH I WAS ONLY IN THERE FOR 3 MINUTES. Failed to ask basic lifestyle questions and just lacks professionalism,surprised she even made it to be a doctor it’s pathetic . Immediately after my appointment I went to another gp to sign on there. My best advice is DONT EVEN BOTHER. They don’t care about their patients well-being all they care is about getting you in and out. WILL NEVER BE USING AGAIN!
