1. I requested a face to face meeting to “ meet” my named doctor. Not an unreasonable request after 3 years in the medical practice and having “ cancer” - “NO fill in E console
2 Requested an MOT / health review for my 80 year old husband- “NO fill in E console”
3 Letter from DHS told me to ask re 4 th vaccine as I am vulnerable and eligible.- “NO ring 119”
Is this practice getting money for us .??We are both elderly and computers are alien to us. No help is being offered .some of the receptionists are a disgrace.
I would like to be able to make an appointment without going through the farce of Triage.
From what we have encountered so far, the receptionists are lovely and very helpful, the phones are answered in a reasonable amount of time. The GP’s seem lovely too. For us E consults work well and have had no issues of getting a appointment either face to face or a telephone appointment. Thank you knoll medical practice.
When I moved to area I got discharged from previous consultant due to trust area. I was needing my 6 monthly injection. I was advised by GP as soon as blood test results were received I would get referred. I contacted GP at time was told referral was going through.
I didn't hear anything after 3 months so called reception to find out where referral had gone as I wanted to call to find out where on list I was. Reception couldn't find anything. I then called back as I didn't hear anything. Only to be told referral went through that day. Eventually I got my injection a year too late.
This happened again as requested by guys hospital they wanted me to have endoscopy but this referral didn't go through until I chased it twice.
This is not acceptable, luckily I chased but not everyone will do that. You shouldn't have to keep chasing for your care
The practice needs to do something about them. They act as if patients are a burden to them. I visited today and had a couple of queries while I was there. The last time the receptionist snapped : what’s the matter? And was very rude while responding to my query. This is unacceptable. They are sitting there to help people and they clearly are not doing their job properly.
I totally understand that people facing jobs can be frustrating but this is no justification for being so rude to patients.
Very dissappointed with their service!
