Dr Adil is a great Dr. However, haven't been able to see him for over a year. Awful experience with reception staff. They think they are doctors themselves. Extremely Rude and lacking even the basic people skills. Office staff controls what options are available through online based on their personal opinion. Parents cannot make online accounts for under 16s. Patient records are not available online.

Very disappointed that for having such a great Dr in the surgery, they have such awful office staff. Ruins the whole experience.

Appointments are extremely hard to come by (even virtual ones). I understand that it is covid time; however there is no balance either in this surgery. When you do get a telephonic appointment, times are never kept and could be delayed by hours or not receive at call at all.

Sad to say, I will be looking into changing my surgery. Such a shame.

THE RECEPTIONIST(I believe her name is Fatimah) was very rude.I have to take a really important treatment for my thyroid which is quite urgent because I'm pregnant and she is not even bothering to send it to the pharmacy ASAP.
The last 2 prescriptions I had them sent to the pharmacy within minutes. This rude lady is telling me I have to wait 48hrs.She doesn't understand I am pregnant and is urgent.
On the same phone call I was trying to find out about the maternity exemption certificate and she said she cannot deal with other requests(where is the multitasking skill for a receptionist?).Or at least she should have asked me to wait so she can finish with the first request, but instead she hang up.
I had previous bad experiences with the gp receptionists, but this time I think is the worst experience, based on my situation(pregnant and with and urgent treatment to take, so my baby will not
be affected).

Great surgery! I have always been well attended to, cared for and treated with respect. From the reception, you get the feeling you are in good hands. The Nurse is always helpful and courteous. The GP's take time to listen to my issues and deal with each one thoroughly. Well recommended by me!!!

This surgery is the best surgery in East London, with reception staff who are super friendly, approachable and treat each patient that comes in with care and respect & doctors who are attentive and see you as a patient and not a number. I would recommend this surgery and their doctors to everyone!

If you value your health, steer clear of Ripple Road Medical Centre. The service and duty of care are below standard.

I've been registered with this practice for a little over six years now, after moving from Camberwell. I immediately noticed a huge difference in service but decided to give it a go since, I considered myself to be healthy. Why would I need to bother the GP, I asked myself? Unfortunately, as time went by, I developed a few complications which I made a point to report to the GP when I noticed that I wasn't getting better.

Now, this is where issues started.

First of all, getting through to the receptionist is a nightmare. The ladies are somewhat abrupt and it seems like they just can't wait to kick you off the phone. They promise to get back to you, to no avail and you'd have to phone back in to chase the updates. I wonder whether these guys ever have need for medical attention as well! 🤔

I was referred for a major scan (only got this after making relentless demands), and it got cancelled after waiting for over 3 months.

Only for the GP to refer me to Medefer who it seemed was just introduced to cover their incompetence. Meanwhile, I was still hurting and bleeding too, but this didn't mean anything 😔.

Honestly, I could write an entire essay just to describe why I feel that this practice, their management and everything about it are appalling. In a nutshell, I can only suggest to anyone who values their health and wellbeing, to look elsewhere. Avoid this practice at all cost.

Giving appointments but never seen on time. Always waiting around 40 min min till bee seen. I think doctors think that they are quens and people should waist there time in queue to see them . Disgusting and unacceptable. We are busy with plans for days. And ruin our plans just to wait it is not normal.
Any chance to change it???

The worst GP in the UK pls avoid. The Medical centre should be shut down. Very rude receptionists, they don't care or listen to you. They are always in hurry to get you off the phone, pls avoid this GP if you value your life.
