Merrow Park Surgery

I feel I have to write my view about this Merrow Park Surgery.
Having been with the same practice since I was 14 now 63! It used to be just off Waterden Road.

The practice has the most efficient friendly team of reception staff.Excellent customer service in as we all know difficult times.They always go over and beyond to help anyone.

Of course over the years there have been many doctors during my time.
All excellent.
My GP is Doctor Larissa Han.a truly dedicated respectful friendly lady.Who I admire and respect.
and very thorough which is vital.
This wonderful doctor treated my late parents to the end.and saved me with her care in her profession to come to terns with my grief as they passed within 4 months of each other.

Other doctors I have seen at the practice are also excellent and thorough.

I am sure you are aware of the present NHS situation.doctors have limited time for each patient.
It does not affect this surgeries excellent service.including the team of nurses.

What makes me angry are patients who do not bother to cancel appointments. It affects everyone.
and I believe should be charged.

This surgery is excellent. The staff are friendly and warm. Appointments are easy to arrange and any procedure needed is fully explained and quickly performed. I would fully recommend this practice no mater how worried you might be about your health. You will be listened to and well cared for.

The quality of service has come down massively during last years. Our family has been with this surgery for a good 15 years and it was so good at the beginning. But with all the good practitioners left, it will be a good time to change the surgery now.

Friendly reception and quiet waiting area. Good registered system.

They took me off my medication without notice, wouldn’t help me when I phoned until I said I was unwell, promised I could have an emergency phone call with a doctor and have received no phone calls on the agreed date and time. You can’t mess people around on their medication.

My mother of 85 I feel has been treated terribly . She was in pain with her arthritis and was treated very poorly when she eventually got herself to the surgery to see a doctor each time she has been a doctor is always unable to see her also the young man behind the desk rolled his eyes at her she was nearly in tears and needed help.back to her car Dr Goddard.would never of done this . I will be reporting this . I will also be getting my mum to move. I will be reporting this i have already had advice with someone in the know . This is just shocking treatment it's not on and I'm very cross and upset

My sister used this surgery before she moved and saw the husband and wife Han Drs. She would not recommend either of them. The woman was dismissive and he was even worse. He has the worst attitude she has ever encountered in a GP surgery. The male Dr sent my sister off for tests at Royal Surrey then during her follow up app to discuss the results he made no reference to them or even knew why she was there ! He was rude dismissive and showed no empathy whatsoever. My sister left in tears. GPs should check on the system to see who their next patient is - he should have known all the information as he made the referrals to the hospital ! He is an utter disgrace and completely unprofessional. His attitude left my sister undiagnosed and without the right intervention for a long time. Her diagnosis was not correctly and ‘kindly’ made until she saw another GP in Surrey. Both of these Drs should be avoided. They’re disgusting.
