I have just spoken to The Mill Medical Practice and what a great service received. The lady on reception was willing to listen to my questions (when they were clearly very busy), was extremely helpful and then passed me over to Kim in the Pharmacy where (within minutes) a prescription was being put in place which could be collected this afternoon. Wish all Doctors Surgeries were like this - congratulations Mill Medical Practice and thank you

Over the past 8 years, every single appointment at The Mill Medical Practice (bar none) has always been well over 25 minutes late before getting seen. No matter what time of day you book. I'm not sure why they even bother giving you a time slot.

Fantastic service & excellent Doctors.
You can be seen on the same day if you feel unwell but it might require some waiting time.

How blessed are we to be patients of this wonderful practice. The doctors have both encyclopedic knowledge and compassion, nurses are skillful and kind, the staff are warm and friendly. What more do we need? Somebody commented on the waiting time. It's usually 10 minutes for me and I personally do not mind because the caring doctors always take time and listen very carefully to each patient. It's vital for them not to make any mistakes. I'd rather wait than being misdiagnosed! Waiting time could be a great time for meditation. Personally, if I have to wait, I simply read a book or, go through the leaflets and information on the message boards offered at the practice (what a great effort the practice staff make!). Knowledge is power! Our family actually have benefited a great deal from the information they have been providing in the patients' waiting rooms. Patients' responsibility and job is to be gracefully and gratefully patient IMHO! "Good comes to those who wait!" (Useful tip - the messaging service from their webpage is great.)

Literally the best GP surgery I've ever been to!

Since injuring my leg, I was able to get an initial physio appointment within the same week. The advice provided was professional and extremely high quality. Not only that, the physio thought an additional referral to see a GP was required and that was scheduled during the same appointment for the following morning. The advice provided by my actual GP was second to none, so friendly, reassuring and far better advice than the private GP consultation I had through work.

It's a shame to read that some other patients have experienced less than ideal waiting times but to be honest, that's the reality of surgeries right now. However, both of my appointments I think I sat down for approximately 2 minutes in total and then my name was called - astounding service!

I really hope that patients that do have a good experience take the time to thank the staff, as it's all too easy to complain but actually giving praise to those who do challenging careers can make someone's day that little bit less challenging.

the Practice has a new Nurse called Fiona who is brilliant and really seems to care about her patients, i cant rate her high enough for her professionalism and caring nature 10 out of 10 your 100.
also a massive thank you also to Jenny and another member of this wonderful team who helped me when i cut my finger badly.
the Practice should be very proud of all of you.

Receptionist was very rude. The appointment system needs to be properly explained when someone is trying to make an appointment. Who wants to call at 8.00 am in the morning and wait in a queue when the appointment is not urgent?
