Martlesham Heath Surgery

Absolute worst doctors I have EVER been to, total waste of time and money. Would reccomend anyone and everyone to go elsewhere this place is a joke! I am visiting from Australia, however am also an irish citizen, the first staff i came across to make the appointment were rude , totally didnt have the time of day for me.

The doctor was incredibly unprofessional, he asked me ridiculous, questions, he openly spoke about a test i needed to do to the receptionist (which by the way you can hear from the waiting room) i wandered around the place trying to figure out where he wanted me to go after a test i had to complete wasnt sure if I was meant to go into a different room but eventually found him where he was having a yap with the receptionist again.

And the best part was the whole reason i was there was to get a prescription and he wrote it down on a bit of paper which the chemist said doesnt class as a prescription. So when it was meant to be free of charge for my medecine I ended up paying an unecessary amount, even the staff there were confused! This place is ridiculous! so anyway thanks for that, really appreciate it 👍

Oh and a heads up if you want to know about how you can pay for your appointment the doctor will tell you during the consultation for some apparent reason rather than beforehand when it could have been useful.

Always an excellent surgery. Very busy but they try very hard to see you as soon as they can. Friendly staff and excellent GPs.

Phoned up as dressing needed changing after major surgery as needed dressing changed a few days later only for the recipient to say no one is available for 2 weeks

We have recently moved to Martlesham Heath and find that the surgery is brilliant. Both the doctors & nurses are very pleasant and really thorough . We couldn't speak more highly of them .
We also had some friends who recently moved near Martlesham & they joined the surgery , again they were very pleased with the care which they received .

Not at all patient friendly, asked for update on when I might get a call but told by reception its out of their hands.

I changed surgery as moved address,the surgery itself is ok.. receptionist clearly hates her job and maybe she should find a new job and do something she loves🤣 everytime I call it's always seem to be same lady, rude and miserable. Terrible service. Doctors and nurses are fine, problem is the receptionist! Its not very nice to be spoken to over the phone like that when you're I pain and just want to book appointment.

I've been waiting hours for a doctor to call me, it is disgusting!!! Come on will you!!??
