Staff that go the extra mile to help. Moved from another surgery and don't regret it at all. Keep up the good work!
Just had to call so adding that the receptionist is just SO professional. Impressively so. Really listens, no fob offs and gets you where you need to be or the correct service you require. Just brilliant!

Today is Wednesday. 14.20 (2.20 pm).
I have just spent more than twenty minutes listening to the automatic answering stuff that this surgery plays when you dial for an appointment/to speak to secretarial service.
NOTHING was said about the surgery being closed on Wednesday afternoons. I had to go online to find out that the surgery's lines would not open again until Thursday at 8.30 am.
If the surgery is closed, there should be a message saying so. There are, after all, still people who pay for phone calls by the minute (luckily, I am not one of them).
I am now required to click on a star. This kind of administrative service does not warrant it. Moreover, it brings into disrepute and disfavour a medical practice that, when one is fortunate enough to get to see a doctor, is fine.

Absolutely appalled by the lack of help from Martock GP. I am awaiting surgery and due to the long waiting times I have to take medication regularly to manage severe pain. It’s now been over a week since the first of many calls to them asking for a new prescription. Even though I’ve begged for help, I’ve only been met with empty promises and a lukewarm attitude from reception staff.

We are required by the Probate office to supply a mental health assessment for my mother completed by her GP. Martock surgery have refused to provide this and took a week and a half to provide a negative response, despite hastening emails and telephone calls, wasting time in what is already a long process. The matter is still not resolved as the probate office are still expecting a GP assessment.
Not really good enough.
Many thanks for your reply - you have made your position clear, however the PA14 states that the form should be completed by a doctor - perhaps you don’t think that this covers your role in my mothers care.

It seems you have to be born and riased a local to get any service here; we've needed a doctor but was given the rounaround and found nothing but anguish, so looking for other resources to sort our medical problems out.Its time this surgery got back to normality and the doctors back to work!
