The Friarsgate Practice

Very poor management of patients in need. Even if you are in excruciating pain affecting work sleep and daily activities they will just leave you for several weeks to have a TELEPHONE appt prior to booking another several weeks after that for to actually treat. NB, if you book your telephone appt they won’t call on time, then you will back to waiting weeks.

I really can’t fault this practice. Considering the pressure GP services are under this practice goes above and beyond. I have felt very supported by them - right from the reception/care navigation, nursing to drs. Efficient and communicate well. Would highly recommend.

The receptionists are fine.After that it's all over.If you make contact by phone you have to be prepared for a big phone bill.If you go in to the practice and leave a message no one gets back to you.

AWFUL - The management and organisation is appalling and as for Care Navigation, what a joke. The only care they seem to navigate is avoiding booking you an appointment within a month. I guess they take the attitude that in 3 weeks you will either be well again or dead.! Forget trying to see a doctor face to face, the computer says NO.

I have had two interactions with the Surgery since registering in May. The service has been outstanding. First with someone over the phone, and second time using the e-consult platform. The team members were friendly and efficient which is remarkable considering the pressures on the NHS and in Primary Care. Thank you for all your hard work. Ed

Absolutely amazing experience. My young daughter has a medical condition so she was offered an extra jab children her age don’t usually get. She was so scared to go but managed to get her there. The nurse we saw was absolutely amazing, keeping my daugter comfortable & calm the entire time. My daughter didn’t even cry and said it didn’t really hurt. She came home very happy with the experience. She was even given a lovely teddy for her ‘bravery’. As this process is something she has to get used to, we are very grateful to the nurse and other staff involved for making her and our experience so positive. Thank you so much ❤️

Such as shame, I used to highly rate this practice but unfortunately the Good Pro-Active Doctors seem to have come & gone. Now left with GP's that for me lack complete empathy & put figures before results. Absolutely Zero Patient - Doctor relationship. The Admin, Reception & Nursing staff I find brilliant. Just lackadaisical GP's (at the moment ) Just my opinion..

I have never had a doctors so bad they don't listen don't help and want you gone out of there offices before you have even sat down. I wish they could spend a day walking around with the pain I have and I bet then they would prescribe something for it. The receptionist and the doctors pa's are fantastic just a shame about the doctors
