Absolutely disgusted by the treatment (or lack of!) my daughter has experienced, in so much pain, she was refused appointments to be seen, misdiagnosed TWICE, which resulted in emergency surgery, followed the next day (30th June 2022) by absolutely vile receptionist shouting at her and refusing to book her an appointment for her dressings to be changed. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TREATMENT. What has happened to this surgery?!You haven't heard the last of this ......

Phone lines have been shut all day, in a surgery where the only way to speak or book an appointment with the Dr is through the phone line.... How are you meant to get help when you can't even phone in? Absolutely ridiculous and no wonder there are no beds left in a&e as that's where I've just been told to go, because the phone lines are shut.

I dread getting sick and getting caught up in the NHS system which starts here. Booking an appointment at this surgery takes minimum 30 minutes. Non urgent appointments take 3 weeks. The process is so ridiculously slow!

Only like one of the drs and that's Dr Green and I can tolerate Dr mckenzie I find the rest of the drs quite judgmental and tbh tend too fob u off I like my drs but is a massive pain trying too get an appointment without waiting weeks! This surgery is appalling and tbh I've gotten iller and iller told I mite need this and that and yet nothing

I have been at Yorkleigh over 20 years. I have a chronic condition and am a regular user of the surgery. Before the pandemic I would give 5 stars. It was easy to call up and deal with non urgent queries by telephone, to obtain appointments within a week or so. My child was always seen promptly whatever the issue. I have no problem with the attitude of the staff or doctors at all who have always shown me kindness and understanding. Drs Green and Malden are superb and the backbone of this surgery - please do not retire any time soon. However I do find that trying to access the surgery nowadays is terribly difficult. One is usually referred to e-consult. I sometimes struggle with my condition to up and about at 8.30 am and my experience is that much after that and the consults are closed for the day. I am currently trying to book a routine blood monitoring test by telephone. I am caller number 7 in the queue. I suspect unfortunately that problems accessing a GP/GP services are across the board and this is probably still one of the best practices in Cheltenham......I have just got through after 45 minutes in the queue and been cut off!

I have been registered with Yorkleigh for over 3 years now since moving to Cheltenham. Having moved from London where I was registered with a number of GPs I can safely say that Yorkleigh are hands down the best doctors surgery I have been registered with. I have never had a bad experience contacting them, even during the pandemic, they have always been able and willing to help. Every person I speak to when I call is friendly and helpful and I have never had to wait too long for an issue I had to be dealt with. Thank you to all who work there.

The doctors, nurses and all other staff at Yorkleigh have been fantastic. They're trying their absolute best within the system and the state it's in. Dr Malden and Dr Green are two kind, experienced and compassionate doctors who genuinely care, and the new GP Dr Ratna is great also. They've been short of GPs, trying to function amidst chaos and must have felt huge pressure. They're human and they've kept showing up for us. They deserve a massive thank you and I hope they know that they're so appreciated by the majority.

Dr Green & Dr Malden have been fantastic GPs over the time I have been at Yorkleigh, but during the pandemic it has been near to impossible to get past the receptionist team and speak to an actual GP for help and advice.

I was recommended by a senior health care professionals to transfer to another practice which took less than 24hrs to do. I am sad to leave Yorkleigh after so long but feel it is necessary for my own personal health to do so
