Have to wait 30 mins+ every appointment. You ask to see what's going off and u get told ur in the queue you'll be seen shortly. The waiting times never get better and there is only ever 1 receptionist on at any one time. To be brutally honest they should get another practice manager in to sort things out. The place is a joke.

COMPLETELY USELESS!!!!! 7 minuets on hold with TOO LOUD MUSIC!!!!! Receptionists who are unwilling to help and stick to their script at all times. no help or budging if you work away and have to have a FULL day off work for a 5 minuet appointment. how they expect an employer to 'make an exception' and allow mobile phones during work (sacking offence) just on the off chance a nurse will phone them?

Friendly staff, but the telephone system is awful. I have been trying to get throuhg to reception for the past couple of days regrding an appointmnet and the same happend last week. I wait, it sounds like somene is connecting me and then I get cut off. Awesome skills! :-(

After many attempts to book an appointment by calling at 8am I then called later in the day and was directed to the website to fill in an online consultation to gain an appointment to explain my situation. I diligently completed the form. It now says that I will be contacted within 24 hours. This time passed so I clicked the link that says I'm still waiting! Another day goes by and guess what nothing. So once again I clicked the link and today the reply says call the telephone number at 8am! So I'm back to the begging of what can only be described as diabolical after paying my taxes for over 40 years☹️ I wonder what the Rt Hon Steve Barclay MP will think of this?

Pretty good medical centre, used to be a bit of a pain to get appointments as you had to call at 8am but now with the econsult service its so much easier and I'm very glad it was introduced. I've had more appointments in the last few months than I've had in the 22 years I've lived here.

Really nice medical practice. I’ve been with this practice 2 years. The staff, doctors and nurses have all been really lovely and well mannered. You have to ring at 8am when it opens for an appointments and may have to queue for 5-10 minutes (but this is much quicker than other surgeries I’ve been at) and I’ve always been given an appointment pretty quickly.

The doctors in this surgery should be ashamed of themselves. It is nearly impossible to get through to them with over a 30 minute wait even when you ring at 8am. Then to be told there are no more appointments available. We are then forced to contact 111 because the doctors refuse to make another appointment and we have to ring again at 8am the next day, to be told the same thing. For the elderly and vulnerable this is extremely distressing. There is something fundamentally wrong with this surgery, the doctors and their system. As it is appalling that we have to revert to 111 when the doctors simply don’t have the capacity to deal with their patients. If they are short staffed which seems to be a permanent issue then maybe this should be addressed. Covid cannot be used as an excuse anymore. The paramedics, nurses and doctors at the hospital don’t have an issue with seeming patients face to face so why can’t the surgery? I think as patients we should all be making formal complaints to the medical council to report their negligence, then maybe something will start to change!

The surgery is disfunctional, if they can't be bothered they just don't phone you back. I tried to speak to the manager there about a Dr, she never phoned me, was told she would phone, never did again and then she went home!!! I've to this day never received a call back. We moved checked to see which Dr's we could use, it says tupton is closest, which is clay cross medical, but they decided we couldn't stay registered we had to move Dr's, they even wrote to say we have 28 day else they would remove us from their records. Can never get hold of a Dr, they wasn't having face to face appointments, even though they called me in for bloods to be taken and my smear, so I can see a nurse but not Dr??? Absolute joke.
