Rarely trouble the NHS and thank God given rudeness of reception through to Doctor today! Called ahead to say running max ten minutes late for a 5.50pm appointment as driving 200 miles across country. No thanks for letting us know just a tone that suggested tough we may not be here! Arrived and quizzed receptionist where loos were and effectively said no time! Into Doc and no better, muttering and moaning about being more than few minutes late. Appalling. Still, apparently my blood pressure fine, amazed.

I often need medical oppointments along with my family and they reject my parents every time and I have the worst timed appointments ever. They have a slow computer system which takes two minutes to sign you in and it says 'zero minute' delay and you wait for thirty minutes or more. The reception does little to nothing for you. The worst part is that it is only open on Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 18:00 and all the appointments are gone by 07:50 when the phone isn't open until 08:00. Fridays to Sundays are emergencies only making it crammed on the days they operate normally and this makes getting appointments even harder. Doctors are normally off on operating days which means one doctor has to see three doctors worth in one day everyday everyweek. My dad is considering moving to Chipping Norton Doctor's since they're open longer for more often and they have a big pharmacy open for ages everyday. If it wasn't so inconvenient for me and my mother we would transfer in a heart beet. Do not expect top notch service here. Maybe with some tweeks this would be one of the best in the UK.

Could be such a good surgery but I'm not entirely certain the doctors really understand the full remit of patient care. They are impatient and make you feel like you're getting in the way. They have ten mins for an appointment and you really feel the clock ticking. There is no effort to put you at ease which I would have thought would be important to them in a healthcare situation. No wonder so many people register at Chipping Norton or try for Witney. The saving grace here is the receptionists are lovely.

Is good once you get appointment. Receptionists rude the majority of the time you speak to them. As a frontline worker was impossible to get any help regards a covid 19 vaccination, despite having a letter from my employer saying I needed to get in touch with them and I shouldn't be refused, was just told I will be contacted. I realise this is a tough time for everyone and they may be busy, however the lack of any clarity or care is very unhelpful.

Excellent service. I rang the receptionist at 8am to make an appointment to talk to a GP. The receptionist was polite and very professional in requesting details on my medical issue. My GP rang me back within 30 minutes and was very professional, sympathetic and helpful in answering my concerns.

The service you get from here is poor and they don’t like criticism they sent Me a letter threatening to ban Me from the surgery to times Charlbury Medical Centre have told me to go private rather than the national health service the management won’t return calls. Other people have already said about the rudeness of the receptionist which I expect they are following orders from the management needs a massive shake up there it’s disgraceful service

We are so lucky to have such wonderful, doctors - Khan, Jones and Gilgun - and such an efficient service in Charlbury. It’s impossible to see a doctor in many parts of the country, but we have rarely struggled to get an appointment with the Charlbury medical centre. Thanks for keeping this invaluable public service running as well as possible in adverse circumstances!

Trying to get past the horrible rude receptionist to get an appointment is hard work there doesn’t seem to be any duty of care from them. Clearly the training of the receptionist supersedes the lengthy training of any doctors it’s either the Doctors don’t want to be bothered or the receptionist get off on some sort of power trip either way Charlbury Medical Center is very poorly run starting with how the phones are maned to the managers knowing how the receptionist is running things
