Take Doctor Elwood and the nursing staff out, and you may as well shut the place down! All the rest of the doctors and the secretaries working there are completely clueless and an absolute waste of time!!

Terrible surgery the people behind the desk have no duty of care , moved adress and obviously have to change but no care about current medication or state of welfare just basically been told have 30 days to find myself a new Dr when I was happy there without having the fuss of changing but glad to go now .

Surprised to see all the negative reviews but I understand it can get frustrating because the surgery is so busy. My service has always been first class however and the doctors and nurses I’ve seen lately have been extremely helpful over a difficult period. The staff on reception have always been helpful too and made things much easier for me. It can take ages to get through on the phone but like said they are so busy

A monkey could run this surgery more efficiently. The doctors and nurses are great BUT the organisation........it is DIRE. The phone is hardly ever answered - even when you can clearly see two or three people in the office chatting and having coffee - you can hear the phone ringing but they ignore it. They have taken over a week to process prescriptions. They make so many mistakes. It is a shocking shambles. If this was my business I would fire the practice manager.

First class service from the surgery, could not have been any better over the last 2 months - the nursing staff cared with humour and empathy when attending to dressing changing - the receptionist directed the requests appropriately and efficiently - the doctors , as always, spot on with diagnosis and treatments for both myself and my son. Massive thank you to the whole team.

I have been a patient at this surgery for many years. My personal experience is that I am always dealt with by all Doctors, Nurses and Staff in a very professional manner. If I have had any concerns, they have always been dealt with swiftly and professionally . In summary my experience with this Doctors Surgery is 1st Class. Thank you to all concerned.

I was diagnosed with serious condition back in May. Thanks to a major operation, I'm now on the mend. The doctors, nurses and staff at the surgery have been amazing throughout. Could not have asked them to do more.

What is the point in putting repeat prescription into the surgery box if 4 days later they still havn't processed it. Not just me but 2 others, then being made to wait for over 30mins for a Dr to sign, resulting in being too late for chemist to fill prescription. I have always been with this surgery, but the system there now definately has serious shortfalls, and needs to be reviewed, and please why are we allowed to enter every shop in the town, but still not allowed through the doors, discussing personal matters through an outside window is not appropriate. Patients charter, I dont think so.
