The Bowl and Roll ~ LA MEXICANA

Visited this place on 01/04/2022 afternoon with my family (3 of us) - got served by a very moody female employee that completely ruined the experience for us. My partner was disgusted at her attitude that almost walked away. I happen to be more patient and forgiving, so I asked him to wait, to see maybe she would behave better, but unfortunately it didn't happen.

Order was 3 burritos, we were planning to eat in but given the vibe as soon as we walked in, we realized takeaway would be better. Cashier was flicking through her phone, looking frowny and annoyed to be there. It was our first time, so I requested to have the burritos prepared one at the time so we could choose the ingredients and see the options. To which this very moody employee employee responded with grunts, quite exasperated, as if it was very inconvenient to prepare them in such manner. We were the only people in, so there was no rush or need to prepare all at the same time. Such was her disgust to the simple request she started banging the metal lids of the ingredients on the counter, almost throwing them around in a tantrum. It was so weird, at this point my partner was like "I don't want food served by this person", and I asked to wait as one burrito had already been half prepared - and the food looked really nice. I thought to myself "give her a second chance".

Unfortunately the rest of the burritos were prepared with lots of sighing, food being chucked on the tortilla carelessly and wrapped in an untidy manner. I also spotted a gloved hand fixing her trousers while serving, which I found very unhygienic. We were given one bag - no reinforcement - to carry three large burritos. When ready to pay, she asked first time? As probably there was some sort of loyalty thing.. my partner responded "First and last" to which she laughed sarcastically and said "Last?". We paid and left.The bag broke as soon as we came out to the street.

We ate at home. Surprisingly, the burritos were really nice. Hence my 2 stars. But the whole experience buying the food was so unpleasant that I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to go in there. No one likes their food served by disgruntled employees. I don't expect people to be extra happy and smiling at me when I buy food, but I do expect a minimum of respect and politeness.

Never eaten there before and she kindly helped me figure out what was best to eat. Her hospitality was great and will be visiting again. Delicious food and drinks.

Lovely place for a quick lunch. The burrito was delicious and there are loads of options for fillings! The staff were very friendly and patiently spoke me through all the options. Would recommend!

I always order my burritos from here, great fast service and leave feeling satisfied. Prices are great if you’re feeding the family too!

Had one of the nicest naked burritos around. The pulled pork was delicious and huge portions!!
Tried my very first jarritos in orange flavour which I will definitely be coming back for.
The customer service by Aysenur made my dine in experience all the better with her bubbly personality.

Empty tacos. Largest filling was not the promised chilli but the guacamole we paid extra for (which was just packet “sauce” like consistency). The “chilli” filling consisted of a couple of beans and a dribble of sauce in each taco.

Fast, efficient and top quality service and food. Always know i can rely on them for either a pop in or online order. Top game. Thank you!

If I could give 0 that's what it deserves. I received a soup of things, requested rice, which didn't came. Tiniest portion ever for £16 through Deliveroo. A complete rip off and waste of my money!!! Do not recommend at all. I always order from a Wonderfull place in Richmond, but decided to order in as I could collect from this God Awful place. Never again!!
