Old brickwork that is virtually as it was when they closed it in the 70s.
The steam engine was running the day we went. Usually only fired up at the weekend.
Worth a visit.

Totally not what we expected but an absolute brilliant experience for all the family. Fully inclusive for 3 generations including wheelchair user. Plenty of fun, games and activities for the kids. An amazing collection of Penny Arcade Machines.

1st time of visiting although lived in area my whole life. Very informative and interesting place to visit, especially if they are firing up the steam engines. They have many interactive things for children and adults also the old fashioned penny arcade is wonderful using old coins playing the old games and proper mechanical crane grabs you can win sweets with.
Looking forward to visiting again soon.

If you like bricks you will love this temple dedicated to their creation. Interesting display of the finished product and the manufacturing process. Good onsite café and good parking facilities and fairly good for limited mobility visitors. An industrial museum worthy of a visit

Found this very interesting. Having lived near here for a while now, I never knew this part of the local history. Very enlightening and has a lovely little cafe with a great selection of cakes

Lovely little museum just outside of Southampton. It's great to visit when they have an event, as the steam engines are out , and take time to listen to all the friendly people and their amazing stories!
