A small-scale museum
One main building with lots of information about the AutoVon communication system and other pieces. Lots of model planes, pictures and artefacts. A good history of the first flight by a women I the UK. Friendly staff.
-Small cafe
-Toilets
-Donations at the door
- Probably a 30 minute visit max but good for teaching local people and children about their history.
- Good to visit in conjunction with Bentwaters/Debach/Martlesham Heath

Came here to the October 2021 car meet and really enjoyed the cars and other motor vehicles on display. Decided to see the museum whilst here too and it’s a sweet, small area with a lot of history about the aviation history of Suffolk. The staff are really friendly and polite, and the little café is very cheap too. Has a shop where you can buy aircraft prints, but would be nice to see other things like pens, bookmarks etc as then I would’ve bought something. Would absolutely recommend for a nice couple of hours’ escapism 😁

This place was great fun for my son who is currently learning about the world wars

It's free, dog friendly and really interesting if you love planes, history and war weapons

The place runs on donations and I was impressed by how friendly the volunteers were, and they shared so much useful info that my 9 year old found fascinating!
