This is the best guitar shop I have dealings with. Wide range of stock with competitive pricing. Always friendly and helpful. I have had dealings with many shops during my guitar lifetime but this one is my "go to" dealer. Go spend some time there, you will spend some loot. ( Sorry, couldn't resist that one)

I've been to a lot of guitar shops over the years, and some have their guitars locked up, some have a very new, quite uninspiring selection, and some are just full of awful guitars that you'd never wish to play. Coda is quite different. They have guitars for all budgets (and for some, you need very deep pockets). I went in looking to try out a load of guitars and was mostly left alone - which is how I like it. I ended up buying a guitar that I wasn't expecting to buy purely because I was allowed to play whatever I wanted - and as someone who has been playing for over 30 years, I do know what I like and what I don't like. I think it's fair to say, I found the guitar I've been after for decades. The staff were helpful and went to the storeroom to find a different guitar that I wanted to try. I am definitely impressed, and very happy with the guitar. I can understand some of the negative reviews on here, but saying that - going to a guitar store is an experience that you make. You get out of it what you put in.

This was my third purchase over a period of years from Coda Music.

This time, I bought a Gibson J-45 and I’m really pleased with it.

I was well looked after, and the staff were really patient and helpful as I spent around an hour swapping between playing three guitars before arriving at the right one for me.

Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic experience today purchasing a Jazzmaster. All the staff on hand were so knowledgeable and courteous to me and we had a good laugh while retaining the level of professional required. My second buy from Coda and not my last!! Buy with confidence. Shout out to Bruce !

Bought a used guitar off these guys recently and there was a small issue with it, they were fast to respond and very understanding and helped out more than I was expecting to resolve the issue.

I always think it’s how businesses respond to problems that you should judge them on, as mistakes happen from time to time. So 10 out of 10 to these guys. Thanks again guys and I’ll definitely be back for my next purchase.

Fantastic experience at Coda Music.

I used to visit Coda Music every day after school like many teenagers do and get my grubby hands on guitars that I could have never hoped to afford. Nobody ever complained and just let us get on with it and answered all our inane questions.

Not much has changed 17 years later, they are still answering my inane questions and giving a fantastic and pain free experience buying a guitar from them.
