Hobgoblin Music Canterbury

Just purchased my Son's first electric guitar and amp 🎸 These guys were simply the best and so helpful. My son felt overwhelmed in the shop as there were so many wonderful instruments. Definitely recommend this shop should you need anything of a musical instrument nature. BIG thanks!

Excellent customer service. Stayed on knowing i would probably be arriving at there closing time. (Forgetful band member led to an emergency drive) More than happy to serve and very friendly staff.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff that went above and beyond. Needed my guitar restrung and they fixed the guitar itself up as well at no extra charge.

I'm biased 'cos I love musical instruments, but I spent ages milling about here, with really knowledgeable staff nearby to answer questions. It feels a little Aladdin's Cave because of the variety of instruments, but I loved it!

Best (well actually only) general musical instrument store in Canterbury, genuinely though, great staff, knowledgeable and exceptional customer service. Really good selection of mainstream and folk music instruments... Way better than County Music - which has closed down (thankfully) because a) for some reason I had a soft spot for it... and b) the owner was unbelievably rude and arrogant despite the amount of money I spent there over the last 30yrs... Anyway... Hobgoblin, highly recommended...
