Update been back twice more after my first time and had the best service and nicest nails. Definitely the best one in Chelmsford and other customers are always happy and chatty.
I've had my nails done for 30 years, longer than most of the staff have been alive. I've had gel nails for years, always gone to salons, then found this place. Much cheaper, I should I have known better! They use an electric nail drill to remove gel varnish and in doing so have taken off the top layer of my natural nails. Normally you'd soak gel polish off and remove with an orange stick or similar - they'd never heard of this method, which is the professional method. They occasionally use acetone to soak the gel a little before again using the nail drill. Using the nail drill, it's too easy to take too much off the surface of the nail, which has happened with mine, the nail bed itself is incredibly sensitive on some nails. I tried to explain this but was shot down with 'have you done training' which I thought was a funny given that they clearly haven't done as much as they should. Anyway, I went there because it's cheaper than a salon, but ultimately, if you want to keep your nails, pay the extra and go to a salon. Otherwise, say goodbye to your nails, including if you have acrylics, that's even more dangerous and you could lose your nails altogether. Don't go here, pay the extra and go to either a salon or a reputable nail bar. I now have to wait a couple of years before mine grow out. Good luck!
The guys just rushed to do the pedicure I told him I was diabetic and he totally disregarded this, he stuck metal instruments on side of toes which was extremely painful, he then proceeded to
use a blade on bottom of my feet and removed so much skin that was so painful that took about 2 weeks to recover.
I called to report this and the guy totally dismissed what I said and was not helpful at all.
