KJ Nails

I visited this nail bar a couple of times when looking for a new regular place after the owners of my old place left to have a baby.

The first visit was fine, however I had a different technician on my second visit and my nails were so bad I had to have a take off and a new set elsewhere the next week.
The acrylic was the thickest I've ever seen in my 15 years of having acrylic nails, it was awful (and the technician who took them off told me he has been doing nails for 20 years and had never seen acrylic so thick!)
I also had countless painful cuts from the drill and file.
It was my birthday that week so it was awful time to have really bad nails and painful cuts.
Perhaps I just got a bad technician on a bad day (my friend who was with me at the time had great nails done and no cuts) but I will not be returning.

Best nail shop in Gravesend, I’ve been trying to find the perfect nail place and I found out with KJ Nails. Shop is nice and clean, staff are friendly and most importantly their work is great. Oh and they take card payments too….. I can’t imagine going anywhere else now.

Really not happy this time round so I got my nails done two weeks ago. I asked for a soak off and full ombré acyclic set, I choose my colour like I was asked and I ended up with sns dip and told they didn’t hAve the colour. So I looked and thought they are okay ishhh I will try them as I’ve never had it before. Week 1 snapped cracked and look awful. Went back to Salon replaced two nails totally different colour and size. I’m so unhappy because I’m away for my holiday looking trampy with the nails. Not happy at all because I paid 128.00 in total for two people to be unhappy everyday with them

Absolutely great bunch of people. With my eyes closed...they know clients so well . I'm always happy to coming back 😌

Not happy with nails after just a week of acrylic nails; you can see the air trapped between my nail and the acrylic. Bad for sure, me, my mum and sis won't come back.

Me and my friend went in to get acrylics done which we were booked in for. On their website and on their sign on the shop acrylics were marketed as £23, however when I went to the till the nail tech charged me £30 and charged my friend £35. It was very unpleasant and I won’t be coming back. Not only that, but the nails started to fall off after 2 weeks which i wouldn’t expect after paying the £30 I was scammed out of

Had a pedicure with normal nail varnish they was very rude and acted like they couldn't be bothered! Decided maybe it was an off day and went back the next day to have my nails painted the same colour, when asked what colour I said same as Toes they said go find it yourself! And then started to talk to someone else telling them no Gel no help not worth it, finally found the polish and they hurried me along just telling me to hurry up!! Not impressed and won't be going back.

Would give 0 stars if I could.
I was refused service despite having and showing an exempt card; plus being vaccinated.
I was told the card didn't mean anything in there and I must put a mask on, rudely by a male who worked there.
I would not recommend this place, attitude was horrific and I will be reporting them for breach of the equality act.
