PV Professional Nails Care

I really did not like this place. The one benefit was that it was not so busy that I had to make an appointment but I guess I now know why!

The place looks really unprofessional, the equipment is old and dirty. I only needed my acrylic nails taken off. When I finally got a chair, she hadn’t washed her hands after she’d finished with the last client. Although she was nice (personality-wise) she was so rough and rushed! The nail shreddings got all over my clothes, in my hair, on the floor etc. She used the roughest file and caught my skin multiple times. After soaking my nails in acetone, she used the same file to take the remaining parts of the nails off which damaged my own nails leaving very visible scratch marks all over them, right to the nail bed. She then used a very rough manual file and shaped my nails completely contrary to their natural shape which I had to fix myself on the way home in my car! I thought when she had finished this, she would put some kind of cuticle oil or nail hardener to take care. Nope. She just put clear OPI nail varnish and told me to wash my hands.
It was the worst nail shop experience I’d ever had and I will not be returning EVER!

Friendly staff, beautiful nails, open almost all the time so easy to find a time to book. They do a great job, service is pretty clean and they have wonderful fish.

Amazing quality - my gel stayed on my nails for two weeks while I washed up and did DIY at home. Not a single chip! Lovely staff too.

Love getting my nails 💅 done here. Have such a laugh. Always do a good job and prices are reasonable.

I very rarely get my nails done but decided to treat myself for my birthday and came to PV Nails. They were absolutely brilliant! So friendly, professional, clean. I felt completely at ease and the whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Plus my nails are gorgeous, exactly what I asked for. Anyone looking to get their nails done in the Caterham area I would 100% recommend PV Nails. Thank you!

The place is rarely busy and while thats good to be seen right away, I wonder if there is a reason for it

They Rush and try get you in and out as fast as possible
I had to go back a few days later after getting my nails done because the person who did them rushed and messed it up
I then ended up having someone who who broke my skin and made it bleed now all my fingers are really sore

Went to get my acrylic nails done and they haven’t even lasted a week. 5 of my na old are already coming off and the nail polish is all chipped off after 6 days. The nail tech didn’t even put the acrylic powder thing to the cuticle so it looks like they already grew out before I left the shop, further more he didn’t paint my nail properly so it looks like they’ve been on for weeks and weeks. Very unhappy and I wish I could have gone back in time and never done my nails there.
