OX4 Nails

Definitely one of the worst if not the worst experience I've ever had. I have I sat in that chair for nearly 5 hours because the nail tech was not able to take off my previous nail extensions and because they were short staffed she kept on going off to other people or to clean. My nails came out chunky and very uneven with blobs here and there. She filed the tip of my nails so short that it was bending even though it had acrylic powder on top and said that it will stop once she put the gel colour on top. My cuticles were flooded with both acrylic and gel colour. Overall, sadly, would not recommend because for all of this I have paid nearly £50

Sheila and Lucia at OX4 Nails were so kind, welcoming, and professional! They were willing to stay late for my friend and I (whom they had never met before) and did an amazing job while being very quick. After looking at different salons for a week or so, OX4 was the cheapest I found and they did not disappoint. We will definitely be back and look forward to our next visit. Thank you again ladies!!

Visited OX4 Nails to have a last-minute manicure. Sheila very kindly slotted us in without prior appointments and did a fantastic job with my nails.
I was also able to make an appointment for take-off, but the extra finishing touches are what makes this place stand apart from the rest. I would recommend making an appointment beforehand as they get very busy, particular over the weekends.
Will definitely visit again.

I've been going here for over a year now and for somebody who usually does their nails in Central London. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Oxford. I live on the other side of Oxford and come all the way here.
A) The owner and the girls are absolutely phenomenal, every single time I go there, they're so polite and well put together.
B) My nails and eyebrows have always been 10/10, the girls do not miss!
C) They're pricing is super reasonable and they're open until late.
D) The owner is a woman of colour unlike every other salon in the city so if you're looking to support the bame community, THIS is the place.

I would also like to emphasise, these women who leave negative reviews are the kind of women who ONLY leave negative reviews.
If you've had any issue in this salon then YOU ARE THE ISSUE. Upsets me to see such a wonderful salon be slandered on google.

Unfortunately I had a very very bad experience here. I came in for a hand permanent gel removal. I was received well, however once the lady who attended me started removing the gel I was alarmed at how aggressively she conducted the process. My nails were filed down with the automatic filer completely, with no breaks to see how much was being removed or for scraping the gel off manually. Upon completing, I immediately noticed that my nails were absolutely paper thin. A burning/aching sensation remained for various hours. Over the days this progressed into utmost sensitivity and breakage of the nails. I can not use my fingers for anything that involves even minor pressure on the fingertip, and if my nails get bumped by anything it is agony. I have blood -colored vertical stains appearing under the nails and the situation is not getting better over the days. I have been doing my nails for some time and have never seen something like this, and to be frank I am absolutely traumatized and shocked by the lack of care of the service.

I have contacted them and communicate what happened and have received no solution, compensation or compassion with regards to the matter.

Will not come to this place ever again.

My daughter called the nail bar for a price over the telephone and was quoted £28 and was told that she would be able to pay by card. When she went to pay she was then informed that it would be £38 and would only be allowed to pay by cash. The lady who was asking for the payment was a very aggressive and rude and refused to let her pay the £28 that was quoted over the telephone. Very rude service and we will never be using this nail bar again absolutely disgraceful to be treating a teenage young lady lady like

Fantastic place made me feel at ease straight away fixed my broken nail and done my nails to a very high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to return thankyou ☺
