Stunning wood! Couldn't believe how beautiful the forest scenery was. There are loads of really clear paths throughout. That makes my ability to still come back to the same landmarks, wondering if this is it, Blair Witch style, all the more impressive. Views of fields, one dog walker and sunlight streaming through the trees. Loved it.

Great walks!!! it has been really busy since the 1st lock down but doesn't stop me going and I always enjoy the work out up and down the long steps.

This is a small wood. Not that super special most of the year but in the spring during bluebell season it’s a local ‘must visit’ location’. Just stunning.

It’s a small wood and parking is limited. I’ve been all times of day and it has a constant stream of visitors but not completely packed

Really peaceful and shady. Limited parking, but more than 1 car park. Height and width barriers limit access to domestic cars.

Guys found today 15/12/21 we have got this perfectly beautiful nature heaven and I. Picking and findings all this rubbish here in Grants lane car park. There are animals running round here and kids who cam hurt themselves. Use a bit of sense I know humans are rubbish and all we do is kill the world but let's try

A gorgeous woodland with a beautiful display of bluebells in late April/early May.
Plenty of well laid out paths and self-guided walks.
There are two car parks plus it's easy to park along the side of the road.
Well worth a visit.

My original contribution was just a taster.
I add the following to the initial review.

There are 2 small car parks, one to service each of the two halves of Stafford woods.
One is in Grant Lane nearly opposite to Monks Lane and is the larger of the two.
The other is in Staffhurst Wood Road very close to the junction with Dwelly Lane and is the smaller.
To be honest at the entrance to both car parks are grass verges and is where most people seem to park.
Those that pak in Stafford wood Road can either go into the bottom of 1 half of the woods or the top half of the other or if you're feeling energetic do them both.

Staffhurst woods are divided into 2 divided by a road and both of them are nearly as big as each other and there is nothing to stop you hopping over the road to expand your walk.

What I personally love about the woods is the peace and serenity of being one with Nature and yourself and in my case 2 dogs.

Depending on the time you go, you could spend a couple of hours walking and not see anyone. No matter where you walk, you have a canopy of trees above you. You could even take a picnic but there are no tables and only a few benches about. In brief it is as nature created it.

At this time of year the woods are also known as the Bluebell woods for the obvious reasons shown in my pictures. Blanket after blanket of bluebells through the Woods captured in the pictures I have uploaded.

Whilst both woods have a small car park, the majority just park on the outside verges which is a commonplace practice.

If you see a mature man with a black and white fluffy border collie and/or a golden pomeranian dog, please feel free to say hello, it's me.

I still get lost in the woods occasionally and have to refer to my walking app to get back to the car. I blame it on age.
I haven't been out walking in my pyjamas and slippers yet but give it time!

Lovely walk my only fault with this woods is there is not 1 bin? I know I'm not the only one that walks there dogs down there but it's abit of a pain having to take the dogs poo home in the car.... otherwise I see people are leaving there poo bags on trees :)
