Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Boston

I came up to Boston for a weekend and stupidly forgot my lenses. I called ahead to see if I could pick up some spare ones from here.

The person I spoke to was polite but she made the process extremely difficult saying she wasn’t able to get my prescription of the system.

I tried Specsavers at Spalding and within 2 minutes she got my prescription up on the system and off I went to pick up a few pairs of lenses. That’s how I expected the situation to go so I don’t understand why Boston made a meal of it? Thankfully it’s not my local Specsavers.

Lovely new hearing aids to replace my NHS issue aids from a long time ago! Very pleased. Helpful, knowledgeable staff.

I would of said 5 stars for customer service if it was not for the fact that I could not get the glasses I required. I ended up with bi-focal glasses but wanted varifocal. The reason being I was told by the staff member I could not have the reactor light with varifocals. Since making my purchase I have found out that vision express do their varifocal with reactor light and will purchase my next pair from them. I do not like the way I can see the line in the bi-focals at all.

Always helpful, not rushed or a hard sell like I found at Peterborough branch in main town centre. I prefer the Boston store more customer focussed calm atmosphere rather than commission/sales focussed. But I must add the Hampton store Peterborough is also very good too they fixed my glasses. I would not return to P/Boro town centre store though anytime soon.

would like to say how superb all the staff at Specsavers Boston were. Each and every one of them were friendly, polite and accommodating.
I want to give a special shout out to Rachael, who booked me in and arranged the pre-sight checks. Her lovely smile and wonderful manner was infectious. She was a joy to be served by.
The young man who did my eye ‘puff’ and measurements (didn’t get his name) was extremely polite and professional.
Then there was Sam, the Optometrist (a hard word to say) who did my sight test. He had a warm and friendly attitude. He made me feel so at ease and no question was too much trouble. He showed such patience with me, and I felt that I had a thorough eye test. He also made me feel that my welfare was important to him.
The state of the art equipment at this store is excellent though and I love that you still use the older method of establishing the lenses needed. For me, this is a less stressful method and a far more personable one.
The best I’ve ever experienced at any Specsavers stores.

I had an eye test two weeks ago, it was brilliant. The vest examination ever. Picked up my glasses today, the service was top class .

I am having difficulty adjusting to the new glasses finding reading difficult and having to go back to my old ones. The new glasses keep slipping down and don’t fit properly.
I shall make an appointment as soon as I am able.

This place is very helpful took my 11 year old daughter to get both pairs of glasses fixed staff very polite and friendly
