Today was our first visit to Chapman Opticians,have just moved to the area from Devon. I can honestly say, it was the best experience we have ever had having our eyes tested. Alison was lovely, very thorough & knowledgeable, she made something I always dread pleasurable. All the staff we met were very friendly & helpful. I can highly recommend Chapmans. I have been a customer of Chapman's for a few years and have always found the staff and service to be first class. Similarly with the eye tests and fitting of new spectacles I have never left the shop without feeling that I had had a thorough test that I could fully rely upon. Consequently, both my wife and daughter will shortly be transferring their allegiance to Chapman Opticians.

An appointment at Chapmans is always a good experience as you’re in safe hands. The actual test is conducted very professionally and it’s reassuring that they throughly check eye health. This time I went out of my comfort zone with my spectacle selection, safe in the knowledge that I would get honest feedback. I’m particularly pleased this time with my choice.

Their staff are all very friendly, customer service is excellent, and most importantly I feel that my eyes are receiving the best level of attention (unlike in some chains). Good choice of frames too, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I am a long term customer of Chapmans in Cheltenham and that’s because of their personal touch. They set themselves very high standards and nothing is too much trouble. I purchased a pair of varifocal glasses and I am delighted with them. The frame and lenses are so comfortable and lightweight.
The team at Chapmans are excellent. They review how my eyes have changed and monitor their health - I am diabetic. Sam is a great help when selecting frames, and she is always very helpful and positive.
