Was 12mints late today (my third time there in a week) for my contact lenses trial, and was not allowed the appointment saying I have to book another for the next day, or some other time, told him I still have an appointment for my daughter on Monday if I could come in for the trial and he said they are fully booked for Monday without even taking a look 🙃
Really I believe some rules can be bent considering the number of times have had to come in within a week and still coming again on Monday and I was 12mints late for a 20mint appointment with no one inside yet.
I'll gladly sign up a monthly supply online else where as my little quid for my monthly contact lenses supply is not needed by specsavers
After cancelling my appointment three weeks in a row (one time with barely an hours notice), I opted to have my current glasses reglazed. However, they somehow broke my frames in the process and were not only unapologetic, but refused to replace them or compensate me at all. In fact, I was forced to buy a new pair, or be left with no glasses and out of pocket for the already paid for lenses that they wouldn’t refund!
The store manager was shockingly rude and disrespectful, she’s not fit to work with people. The director was slightly more professional but ultimately just as unhelpful.
Unfortunately, because they’re a franchise the only way to take an unresolved complaint further is through trading standards, which I’m currently doing.
Highly recommend this Opticians we saw Derek the Optician and Emma the contact lens dispenser it was one of the best visits to a Optician we have had in a long time.
It's now a one star
firstly staff walking round like they are in no hurry to serve anyone.
Secondly the OA we saw clearly has only one interest and that was to get as much money out of you as he could and ignored the fact that we had a voucher which generally means you haven't got endless amount of cash and quoted us for the dearest lenses instead of the normal ones at over a hundred pounds less won't be coming back.
I damaged an eye in a fall I had at home soon days ago
You booked me in as soon as possible when I contacted you and your caring team checked me out throughly and fortunately no damage was done
