I went up to Specsavers back on 27th June to ask if I could have my glasses replaced as they accidentally got broken I told them I don't pay for my prescriptions for my glasses this lady called Pauline she told me on the phone that I wouldn't have to pay to have them replaced then I went into the store and this male member of staff took me over to show me my glasses then he was rude saying " your not getting your glasses for free you will pay £80! " then I saw this lovely member of staff called Sarah she looked at my prescription and told me that I'll only have to pay £49 for them but the other member off staff I didn't like the way he spoke to me.

Booked an appointment on line late Friday evening and managed to get it for the following day. The web site was user friendly and so straight forward. It had all the information I needed. Appointment was confirmed and I got a reminder the following morning. On attending my appointment I found the staff friendly, professional, helpful and informative. I’d had a problem with one eye. Once I explained the problem they were thorough and reassuring having double checked it, absolutely brilliant I couldn’t fault them…. Thank you Harlow Specsavers

A little busy, but big enough to have social distancing. Once you have your appointment the staff are extremely dedicated. Thank you for being so patient Specsavers Harlow.

Popped in with a contact lens emergency at roughly 1630.

Just wanted to thank both the workers, one man being on the front desk and the other a very kind lady who helped me sort a replacement. Very professional service and can’t thank these guys enough!

Went in for contact lens trial last week, one eye was irritating as I left Harlow town centre and assumed it needed to settle, a couple of hours later I had to get them out, one came out immediately whilst I struggled with other eye, by the next morning my eyes were awful, full of blood irritated and swollen and seeping, I had to leave work after a few hours and was going to A & E, I rang specsavers first who agreed to see me a little later and they checked my eyes then asked another optician to check both very pleasant girls, they gave me drops to soothe eyes and recommended I buy a antibiotic drops, my eyes looked terrible and I was in discomfort and ended up losing 2.6 days wages and whilst I accept you sign a waiver, I have lost income but the retail director doesn’t care because she IS covered.

Initially we arrived early as requested and waited a long time to be even acknowledged. We had to interject between an employee and another customer. We needed some clarification on the enhanced eye inspection but no-one could explain it. As our appointment time had passed we went ahead but it was very rushed. When we enquired as to the results, the young lady wasn't great at explaining and said that as we were late the optometrist would explain it better. So we waited again. The optometrist was very good and was much more patient with us. When mentioned our initial issue with lack of acknowledgement from staff when we arrived. He listened patiently and recommended we speak with the manager. I replied that we didn't want to cause a fuss and he had listened was enough, but he insisted. At the time the the manageress was busy. So we waited for the audiologist. A lovely lady whom took her time with my father. She had heard about our grievance also recommended we talked to the manager. And the manageress whom took the time to listen to our concerns and addressed everything to our satisfaction. She also explained that 2 of the staff had phoned in sick that day and agreed that the staff needed better training.

We have another appointment which I'm hoping will be as good as the latter part of our initial one.

Excellent service, very professional, friendly, well trained staff. I use Specsavers for both audiology and optical. Cannot recommend them highly enough 👍 Prices are great and all products are high quality no matter the price 😊
