Hi all, just want to say that i was very happy with the service i received in Specsavers (Walthamstow) - today 27-8-2022. Although the shop was busy, i didn't have to wait long. The staff was very kind, efficient and knowledgeable. My Optometrist was Mr Azam Riaz, explained everything i wanted to know, answered all my questions. Also all the other staff members who guided me through the different steps from start to finish were very professional. I don't usually write reviews but today i was very impressed and i can recommend this place to everyone who can tolerate and respect workers at busy hours.

I have a high prescription for my eyes and trying to locate contact lenses through the scheme or store is like a needle in a hay stack. Passed from person to person. I don’t get the impression they take people who rely on contacts/glasses seriously unfortunately. Avoid. Please note the staff seem lovely and I didn’t appreciate the guilt tripping follow up text message to this review naming one person. I spoke to around 5 different people and it’s your systems that are whack not your staff.

Constantly disappointed and dissatisfied with this Specsavers. I’ve received contradicting information from staff on multiple occasions with no willingness to solve my issues or provide real assistance and no accountability for the wrong information being communicated. Most recently I’ve had to make contact with the store both over the phone and in person 4 times for a simple copy of my prescription. Astonished at why such a seemingly small request takes so long to action correctly. I feel the competency of staff here has rapidly decreased in the last few years and it’s a shame. For the prices the least you expect is good costumer service.

Very poor customer service and lack of communication. Waited 2 weeks longer than promised for an expensive lenses order. Phoned 3 times and told different things each time, manager apologised but offered no compensation and blamed new staff and the war in Ukraine!

The optician Azam Riaz was brilliant and understood my needs and provided really good advice. The store assistants were very helpful and friendly. The whole process from booking online, to the test, through to choosing Frames was stress free, service was excellent and couldn’t be more satisfied. So thank you !

Azam my optician was fantastic! Really helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I learnt loads about my eyes and eye health. He took the time to talk me through what he was looking at and even did a double check when I mentioned I was surprised my eyesight had deteriorated so much - he was right, it had!

Team are all lovely but the place currently couldn't manage its way out of a paper bag. Outdated systems, poor record keeping and appointments constantly running late.

I've been into this branch 7 times after my lensmail subscription was erroneously cancelled to try to resolve and get new lenses - they don't hold any stock of linarial in store (as all franchisees) but promised stock had been ordered in store. Every time, no luck. Eventually I've been forced to play Where's wally and hunt down a store that has the right lenses.

Management, tech and franchise program needs an overhaul.

I made an appointment to try lenses and to get advice on what kind of lenses I needed. I waited a few weeks and on the same day as my appointment they called me and asked "Have you ordered your lenses?", I said no, that's why I signed up, to get a consultation, to which they told me that they would then order them for me and reschedule my appointment, then it turned out that they could not find my eyetest result and now I need to do a new eyetest.

This is so weird. Why write "we can help you find lenses" and then do all this
