This is regarding audiology service. I have been customer of Watford branch. Extreme happy with A1 service for many years. I decided to visit the local High Barnet branch The appointment was running late for 30 minutes. Audiologist did not have the regular parts in stock. She promised that she will call me as soon as the parts are in stock. Till date she never bothered to call me. I am thinking to either move back to Watford branch or go to other sellers on High Barnet street as I am local to High Barnet. Very disappointed with the High Barnet branch services.

Having previously been happy with our experience at the Barnet branch, I just had the worst customer service from the man on the front desk who also claimed to be the store manager? I’m only sorry I didn’t get his name. He was abrupt, rude and dismissive. I never normally review but was appalled by the experience. When confirming the appointment for my daughter I was first told we weren’t registered at this branch as he couldn’t find us (we were) after asking for more details he then found us and abruptly told us as we had booked online it had created a separate registration so we would have to pay £25 for the consultation as it would be treated as new booking? Really? He then switched to saying we had entered my daughters date of birth incorrectly and started quoted NHS guidelines saying we had signed to confirm the details were correct so it was our responsibility. I think I know my own daughters date of birth…! I questioned whether an error had been made when it was transferred to the computer booking system as I remember handwriting on a form and checking it with my daughter at the time. I got quoted more t&cs and he quoted a charge of £25 again. He then switched to as it hasn’t been a year since your last appointment you will have to pay anyway and just kept repeating a variation of the above, pretty much ignoring anything I said to question it. Fair enough if policy is you only get 1 free appointment a year but the other 2 issues? And why all the confrontation? We just came in for an eye appointment. As we were getting nowhere we left and booked with Boots Opticians instead. We will not be back.

Amazing customer service, staff are super kind and have brilliant attention to detail. I had a terrible experience with a different branch but Barnet Specsavers have been great. Thanks Priya!!!! Such a star ⭐️

This is a third time come in to Specsavers Barnet store, probably last one.

You assuming they provide you full check service on your eyes but they don’t, not accurate at all and if you spend money on it they may concern on it.

Got a pair of glasses which cannot use because of their mistakes, they did me a test twice and still made a mistake and ask me to do it again which is just wasting time for it honestly.

Got headache and dizzy time for it, after complaining many times about this issue been offer told to come back at shop to discuss the matter, went there again with hope for a great result.

Short story they wasted my time explain to me the all problem again about the policy which no making any sense as the glasses are not usable at all, what did I paid for what?

Also compare many of mine glasses with a prescription and are fine, that’s why I can say the differences that’s to make my point, made this clear to the manager many times.

Overall the Managers are efficient and professional.

Avoid this branch at all costs!! I have visited numerous Specsavers branches across the South and this is the worst i have ever been into. Customer service is poor and staff are under trained.

I spent over £300 on 2 pairs of glasses and both glasses did not fit correctly. Firstly, one of the ladies was struggling / fiddling around trying to adjust the glasses, every time time she handed the glasses back to me, the fit was worse!! She then called her colleague, the rudest man in your store. He was condescending, dismissive and extremely rude. Before he even saw the glasses on my face he tried to tell me that the fit was good and i was imagining the poor fit. I have worn glasses for 20+ years and I know when they do not sit correctly on my own face!

Clearly incapable of doing your own jobs! Interesting, the same man was the one who sold me the frames/lenses 2 weeks before. He tried to tell me that it was more cost effective to buy 2 new frames plus lenses then to have new lenses added into my existing frames. He is unprofessional and thinks he is above everyone else.

I visited another branch that same day and the glasses have been adjusted correctly - there were numerous issues with the fit!!!

Do not use this branch of Specsavers. Appalling customer service. Unwearable glasses. Evading my concerns, they lie and lie. Do not spend your money here. Do not trust your eyesight to this place.

Excellent service and I've taken to my new glasses like a duck to water!
A suggestion: please sell clip on sunglasses for those of us with complicated prescriptions who need protection from the sun. Thanks

Great service from Jayu. I'd broken my glasses and simply needed a new frame as the lens were fine. Great care and fitting.
