Boots Opticians Stroud

Went in to rebook a missed appointment for an eye test and was seen that minute in a cancellation slot. Great! The staff were lovely, professional and attentive, and happy to help me select the right specs. My 2 new pairs were ready on time.
Always a good experience in the Optician department of Boots. Just wish the same could be said of the main shop across the road!

My wife and i both went in and had a eye test and purchased some glasses. The staff we found very helpfull friendly spend time and effort to help you get the right glasses that work.
We mostly delt with debbie so a special thanks to her but all were great cant fault any one we delt with MANY THANKS AGAIN.

Staff okay in past but Boots are very poor at getting appointments. Earliest slot two months ahead cancelled by them; then another 2 months ahead at 5pm in Gloucester cancelled '20 minutes!!' beforehand; after driving from Stroud. They were apparently running late! Perhaps they'd like to pay for my fuel! Useless and unprofessional.

My initial appointment for 2 pairs of glasses went well. After a few weeks of wearing the specs and trying them I realised I was struggling with my sight in one eye of the reading glasses so went into the branch to speak to them. The gentleman there looked at the glasses, made a very poor adjustment to the arms and said they would be in touch if an appointment came up. They never have been in touch and it’s impossible to get through on the phone. Meanwhile I’m wearing glasses that cost me over £200 that don’t work in one eye … very disappointing.

Booked an appointment 2 months in advance after getting about 5 reminder letters,
when I went for my appointment, they find I wasn’t on the system, so I made another
appointment, the 1st lady was very helpful, the male staff member was pleasant enough.
The 2nd lady was rude to me.
This isn’t the 1st she has been rude to me, she seems to have an issue with me,
maybe it’s the colour of my skin or disability.

Had an eye test and an o r t scan. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble.Made for a pleasant experience. The store was clean and very covid safe.
