Left the 88 year old lady I accompanied standing outside for 10 minutes and had to be persuaded to let her in to sit down. The optician held 2 fingers up to say they reopened at 2 and it was their lunch. This lady spent 400 pounds with this opticians . One day you will be 88 and accidentally. a bit early. Shame on you.
Today you have charged the same 88 year old lady £32.50 for a job you quoted £15-20 for on the day you left her standing outside. True colours....

Had a query with my eye health, was previously a client at david wood, a few years back, been to many other places recently and never really been satisfied with end result, i.e. glasses!!!
Got an appointment for optometrist to check my eyes immediately, he explained what was wrong, nothing serious thank goodness but needed some drops and care advice.
So helpful and kind, to see me at short notice on a Saturday.
I will be coming back for my yearly eye health check and glasses in future. Thank you for your help.

Recently used David Woods fot the first time. A very pleasant experience, the premises is lovely a far cry from the cramped local high street opticians. Staff are polite and the sight test was un-rushed and thorough. Optometrist was friendly and answered all my questions
