Very professional. Easy to book an appointment at short notice and completed efficiently with minimal waiting time. They then didn’t try to push me into buying glasses I didn’t need.

Call received before the appointment to confirm. Was helped as soon as we walked in the door. Eye tests were administered almost immediately. Helpful staff. Good selection of glasses. Couldn't fault the service provided so very satisfied

Having a problem with a pair of glasses that I purchased in August. I will say the staff have been really helpful in sorting the problem out they offered me a replacement pair straight away so I can say I'm happy with the service

Such a shame... They'd been so good to me recently that I feel bad for this review, but I think it's deserved...

Had an appointment booked for Friday.
On Thursday they call me. Take some details. All fine.
Them: "Oh, go to hospital"
Me: "OK. But I can't really today as I'm in Wales (I live in Buckinghamshire). Can't I just come and see you tomorrow so I can get a referral letter (like I did last time!)?"
Them: "You could go to hospital in Wales"
Me: "Erm...you want me to rush in to Cardiff and maybe have on-the-spot eye surgery in Wales? And be stuck there for a week before I can drive again? With my car stuck in an NCP car park? And nowhere for me to stay?"
Them: "We're not going to see you tomorrow, go to eye casualty"

Went to eye casualty today (where I had my other eye fixed).
Hospital: "You need a referral letter. We don't do walk-ins"
Me: "I thought you'd say that (having been through the process before for my other eye). Specsavers refused to see me and now I've missed the appointment I had with them."
Hospital: "Specsavers really should have known that."
Me: "Yep. They really should have..."

It's a completely mega-urgent case, and now because they've messed me around and not listened to a word I've said, I'm having to wait another 3 days. Thank you Specsavers, but I think I shall go elsewhere from now on :)

A fantastic experience in the Towecester branch from the moment I walked in. A in-depth examination that was explained in detail and a great range of new specs to choose from. The changes to my prescription picked up by Sid in my examination have made a world of difference to me!

Convenient location. Seems to be good service, but you never really know!

Waste of time, can never get my prescription correct and then refuse to sell you glasses simply because they can’t be bothered with the hassle of getting them correct
