Godfrey & Jones Within Singleton Hospital

During a trip to Swansea I broke my glasses. I was recommended Ian Godfrey at this opticians. The shop is fairly basis but Mr Godfrey was outstanding. Not only a thorough and professional eye test but a very clear explanation of my options for regular glasses versus varifocals. I liked that fact that I was given an honest appraisal and di not feel at any point that I was being "sold" to. I just wish that I lived near enough to make it my regular optician!

Charming, professional and efficient. The ladies that work here are amazing at what they do. It's an opticians inside a hospital, so you can imagine the numbers they see. But they still manage to provide you with a very friendly and personalised service. Ian is brilliant at his job. I can't stand things going near my eyes, but he's very good at relaxing his patients.

10/10 for everything.

Today is day 18 waiting for my glasses very time I call all I get is tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow.......... 3 weeks for glasses.

If I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would! I cannot recommend Ian Godfrey and his staff highly enough. I have been through tough times over the last few months due to an eye condition and they have been marvellous and quite frankly, instrumental in my emotional and physical recovery. Thank you, thank you, thank you. On a more objective note, the prices are very competitive, the customer service outstanding, and the whole experience from start to finish, superb. Jx

The front desk staff are really good and helpful. The optician is great, relaxes you, advice given is so apt. Recommend to all I know.
