David Clulow Opticians

I was recommended on to David Clulow by one of your current customers. The staff were friendly, informative, the place was clean. My stepdaughter has now booked an eye test in your Kings Road Branch. Thank you for a great service.

I booked an eye-test appointment by phone on Monday and confirmed with them that the appointment would be at 09:45AM Wed. However, when I arrived at the store on Wed, I was refused the service. They told me they cancelled the appointment and called me on Tue afternoon and left a voice message. I checked my phone there is no record of their call and no voice message. They just cancelled my phone appointment and gave it to other customers. The stuff did not admit responsibility for their actions, just repeating they cancelled it. An appointment is an appointment!

I did a walk in here and they kindly squeezed me in a bit later.
Had an eye test which was very well done, and follow up to sort some old glasses out - frames and lenses.
The staff here are great, all chipped in to help me pick frames and offer me best options on lenses and deals, and even sorted me with a couple of boxes I needed free of charge.

Terrible service. Booked an eye test through work and got an email from David Clulow the morning of the test telling me it had been rescheduled for 3 weeks away (at a time I cannot make!) Apparently you can only go at 9:45am if you have a voucher from an employer, but they don't say this on their website and still allow you to book etc. Caused a lot of un-necessary hassle. Fortunately I managed to rebook with a different optician. Perhaps anyone reading this should save themselves time by going for this option directly.

I booked my appointment for the first time a take Kensigton High Street branch DC for Wed 07.09.2022.
Very friendly staff I was greeted warmly and with a very friendly manners.
Ilana was the Optometrist who examined my eyes.
She thoroughly examined my eyes and it was exactly how I wanted it to be done.
Her diagnostic matched with my GP’s doctor.
She gave me very useful advice and information about my concerns regarding to my eyesight.
I am extremely happy with her service.
She put my mind in peace and I can now wait for my NHS Ophthalmologist booked in November.
I strongly recommend Ilana and DC optician Kensington High Street.
I hope it collect my glasses in 10 days time. Hopefully it all goes well too.
I am glad I changed the Optician Company that I used to go for my eyes tested.

I have always had such a good experience at the David Clulow store in High St Kensington. Such an attentive and really lovely team led by Ben and ably assisted by Tolga and Sosan. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I find myself wanting to buy more and more glasses from them !

I was lucky enough to have an empty spot for the eye test when I walked in the store. Everything went smoothly and the staffs were very friendly as they showed me different types of glasses that are somewhat similar to the ones I wanted. I bought mine during the Black Friday sales and surprisingly it was ready within a week time.

Clara my daughter has been received and treated with great care and attention to details. It was a very good experience for her as well as her father who came along. Thank you
