Very helpful and attentive service today when purchasing a new jacket. Lots of options in stock at a wide range of price points, more than I expected in fact!

I would guess a little more expensive than you could find online (I didn't check), but I believe the option to try on for size, immediate availability and the personal service far outweighs any small cost difference. Supporting our independent retailers is paramount otherwise where else would we be able to buy kit at short notice? Thanks guys and see you again soon!

Rude and unhelpful! As an accomplished fell marathon runner I needed to purchase a new running backpack. When I picked up one of the rucksacks the shop assistant very patronisingly told me the rucksacks I were looking for were for ultra runners doing 50 miles + (which is utter none sense!!) the man then asked what size I was looking for so I advised it was for me... he told me there were some more on the other side of the shop then walked off to carry on chatting to his colleague despite me trying to query which rucksacks he was referring to!! Pity, I ended up spending £314.56 today at Ellis Brigham in Manchester on kit for the forthcoming Grizedale Marathon. Loose the attitude guys you’re competitors are offering far better stock / product knowledge and insight!!!

FAULTLESS SERVICE WITH A SMILE, was greeting very politely by 2 young ladies when i entered the shop, asked if i needed help which was brilliant, The help and advice was excellent. I purchased a pair of walking boots on the ladies recommendation and she is spot on, very comfortable. Been in previously when there where 2 men and never got treated like this, they had no interest in what i needed. I will be back whenever i need anything or even if i'm passing just to say hello. THANK YOU. I will recommend you to all my friends.

Went in for a new jacket and the young lady was very helpful, I was unsure of what kind of jacket I was after so she showed me a good range and gave pros and cons and we soon bought the right one. Thanks 😁

Really helpful, didn’t have the exact Victorianox in stock but took details to order stock in. Just to let you know I did find the one I needed so no need to order now:) Trying my best to shop local so keep up the good work.

When in yesterday to have a look around, and I was very pleased with the service. Very friendly lady serving. Came out a few pounds down, but got a great (coat).

Went in to the store for walking boots and a jacket the young lady was very helpful and patient as I tried on several pairs of boots before choosing the ones I wanted I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for outdoor gear just because of the service I received.
