Stayed at The Walking Hub B&B when other accommodation options had come to nothing. It was a fortunate turn of events. Ali's place was so comfortable and the breakfast so healthy and filling that I felt as though I had been on holiday, mid holiday. I was walking Offa's Dyke trail and highly recommend stopping off here to other walkers.

The location of the Walking Hub B&B was perfect for us, walking the Offa's Dyke path. The bed was so comfortable, the host very welcoming and the breakfasts absolutely delicious. Kington is a lovely little town, with some interesting shops and plenty of free parking. I would recommend it to anyone.

2 glorious days walking the Offa's Dyke trail, enhanced massively by our stay at the Walking Hub in Kington. What a find! Rooms comfortable plus; welcome and support from Ali really appreciated; breakfasts- what can I say- the best ever, nutritious and really helped the energy levels when climbing those hills; all in all ( at least) 5 star! As for the shop....I am returning to do my Christmas shopping....

We stayed two nights whilst walking Offa's Dyke. Wonderful place to stay: warm and cosy when we came in after a day's walking and the best breakfast we've had in a B&B! Great to have the living room to relax in and tea/coffee making facilities. Ali is an excellent host!

Had a great experience buying a new Paramo Jacket. Ali is very knowledgeable and took time to talk me through all the features and differences between each jacket, as well as finding the right size. Will definitely be going back!

My first visit to The Walking Hub shop today for new walking boots. I don’t usually enjoy buying shoes because I always feel under pressure, it feels like I m being a nuisance if I need to try a different size or style. My experience today couldn’t have been more different: I felt that my comfort Was the most important thing. It was wonderful to be served by someone who really cares about what she is doing; passionate about walking but also about feet. It’s too soon to say how I shall get on with the boots but my walk this afternoon was a joy. I will definitely recommend this shop to friends.

Bought a lovely comfortable pair of walking boots. Bill, our greyhound met Ali's dog Roo. They seemed to have good time getting to know each other while I was advised about the type of boot I was buying.

With my new purchase I trekked up the hill to complete my Mike Oldfield pilgrimage to "The Beacon" On our return we bought a pair of "Freet" boots for my wife.

Its nice to have a personal touch when shopping for new boots.
