Millets

Two guys in there who don't seem very much interested in their clients nor know much about what they sell.

Simple test: went to buy a pair of laces and the sales rep wasn't able to tell the length of the laces they had. Solved quickly since he just took off 20 seconds later to speak to an other customer and leaving me clueless.

The other sales person wasn't involved in the business, crosswords perhaps. I have since ordered on line, not from Millets since I am yet to know what they offer.

Terrible service. The staff in here are clueless. Don't know the first thing about outdoor kit, and are rude and dismissive.
They seem to operate on a "sell you anything" policy, which is a shame because I have found the staff in Millets are generally well intentioned, if lacking in some knowledge.

If you insist on millets, you're better off goingto the Farnborough store. If you are looking for expertise and advice, you are much better off taking a trip to Cotswold Outdoors in Reading, where they train their staff properly, and employ outdoors enthusiasts, rather than the usual disinterested local youths.

The Fleet branch of Millets is excellent. The staff can't do enough to help you. Their service is quick and efficient. Prabesh and Gwyn were both helpful to me today. They are friendly and smile. They made me feel welcome and a valued customer. They are part of the reason I go back to Millets. Thank you!

Went here for a full rain suit for my son which we got. While in town I also wanted a new belt to which a colleague over heard me speaking to my partner about and showed me the 2 for £10 offer on their range. The same colleague also commented on how cute our son was with his oxygen tank and the colourful tapes he had keeping in his cannula. 5* Would definitely shop here again.

Staff were very helpful and able to locate extra stock quickly. There was a good range of products available for a small store. Good social distancing and hand sanitiser available on entry.

The staff in the Fleet branch are always incredibly helpful and there is a nice selection of products.
