Huge disappointment and utter waste of time! I've been absolutely screwed over for my mountaineering expedition

Rang up to place an urgent order (expedition gloves) and was told to use their online system whilst being assured that if I placed an order then (9am) it would be sent out that day (even opted for faster shipping). I could not have been clearer that the order was extremely urgent. The following EVENING get an email stating they did not have the item in stock (despite their online system stating the contrary). No effort to call me was made whatsoever. Extremely dissatisfied!

Website not working properly and they won't take orders over the phone. Go elsewhere, I think...!

Stunningly poor service. I rang to see if they had some shoes in stock. Richard answered after a time and was then almost incomprehensible. I started asking whether the shoes I wanted were in stock, but before I could even finish telling him what they were he went to check (I think), put his handset down and left me hanging on the phone. I could clearly hear him answering other calls and talking to other customers. Not cool.

Bought a jacket today. The staff are really helpful and polite.

Shop selling just cheap and rubbish stuff. Came to try some winter mountaineering boots, they had none. Actually, they had no mountaineering gear at all.
