Guildford Park and Ride

Apparently not operating. Signage directs you to Surrey Sports, but ends with no clues. We asked a bus drive who said the park and ride was no longer operating. This was on a Suturday. We also tried the Saturday Only P&R at the university. Same situation, followed the main road signs, then nothing. Extremely frustrating. We had to use a city center multistorey carpark in the end.

As of April 2022 the COVID testing site that was here is now permanently closed. Not sure if/when it'll be used as a park and ride again anytime soon.

Just don't go here! It's closed despite all the signage directing you to the now defunct P&R. Additionally the "Saturday only " P&R at the University of Surrey Campus is also non- existent. We ditched our planned day in Guildford and retired to an excellent pub lunch at the Anchor Inn in Lower Froyle.
Guildford lost out today and is probably suffering from excess traffic in town, like Farnham . The star rating should be ZERO, but I couldn't post this without giving a non-existent service without a star.

Aug 2022 - this site is now closed and Stagecoach have no intention of restarting the Park and Ride service from here.

It’s a drive-in COVID-19 testing center. The staff there are very friendly. They will guide you to the actual testing center. You can choose to do it yourself or ask a staff to help you take the tests. In the process, you don’t need to get out of the car. It’s very convenient. The queue is not long as when I arrived there I can only see one car in front of me. The whole process took less than 10 minutes.

Attended Covid Test at this centre on 24th Dec. My family did the drive-in test for more than 5 times in 2021 - Not very rushed. Plenty of slots available for PCR test. And staff are friendly and helpful. Enough space for parking and doing the test on your own -if you want to.
Test results were never late than 24hrs. Happy to recommend it of you are looking for a less traffic, cool calm drive-in (not walk-in) testing centre in Surrey 👌

Went 4th October 2021. Still in use as a covid testing site, with no indication of this on the website. We parked in the university of Surrey's sports ground car park and caught the no.1 bus into town instead (£2.80 return)

When it was open it was brilliant for getting into Guildford but now its being used for Covid testing and closed. The website is not clear and I and others have travelled from Farnham only to find its closed.
