A pleasant green space; ideal for a short stroll. The park features a fenced-off area with play equipment for the children, an all-weather table tennis table (bring your own bats, balls, and wind-shield), a basketball hoop, a few football goalposts (seasonal), some well-intentioned but probably little-used all-weather exercise equipment, a few benches and picnic tables, and a dirt-bike track made for "The Borrowers". The unavoidable negatives are the thoughtless dog owners who do what thoughtless dog owners do everywhere and the possibility of being hospitalised by a stray cricket ball when a match is on.

Not crowded. Clean. Good selection of play equipment for kids. Workout stations for dad. Well worth taking a picnic.

Clean and graffiti free. Nice to go to a park that is well respected and treated well.

If the local council reads this. Please add more calisthenics items for adults at the bottom end of the park.
