Great place for all sports especially cycling and football. Parking a bit limited

Not easy to find the first time you visit. Look for a gap between the houses leads to a carpark. The pitches are alright.

The kids, the dogs and the picnic basket love a trip here. Not ideal in November, but the dogs and kids don't pay attention to the weather! Ty

A huge area reserved for the exclusive use of a tiny minority of visitors to Swinden. I am not a cyclist and therefore the lycra clad gestapo ensure I do not trespass on their domain and stay in the general public area with the rest of the riff-raff. Used to be nice walking along by the stream but that is no longer possible. I guess it's a nice track if you happen to have a bike with you, otherwise the tarmac laid across a public field, fenced off at huge expense is all rather offensive.
