We visited here just before the lockdown with our baby daughter to introduce her to animals. The farm is relatively small, but we saw goats, cows, pigs, chickens, alpacas, a peacock, and turkeys. I'm aware there are donkeys and ponies but we did not see these on this visit. It had rained a lot in the past few days so the ground was extremely muddy and wellies were the most sensible footwear.

After the farm, we wandered around the Hundred Aker Wood. This includes sweet references to Winnie the Pooh and his friends and adventures in the form of their houses and the like. Again, it was a very muddy day so we perhaps did not see these at their best, but I imagine they would be quite exciting for toddlers/young primary school children to discover otherwise.

We enjoyed our stroll around the reservoir where there are many ducks to be seen, and the sun on the water is quite spectacular. There were quite a lot of people around but social distancing remained easy enough.

Pasties and hot drinks were available at the kiosk, and there were toilet facilities open in the car park.

A lovely few hours in nature which was well worth the car park fee to us.

Visited the camping area, which was great, with dedicated areas for toilets, showers, washing etc. A massive open area in the centre for the kids to play, fly their kite, play ball with other kids etc. I have to say that it was a little pricey, but the kids enjoyed it so much. Would be happy to recommend this place to others, and will certainly be coming back again!

Took my 2 grandsons there this afternoon they had a great time. Went to see the animals and a young man who works there took great pleasure in talking and explaining to them about the cows and a new born calf plus other animals.they were totally amazed by him took in all he told them. Wish I had asked his name. He has red hair and a beard. Thank you so much

Nice place, worth a visit. The parking lets it down. Whilst lots of spaces, it is a fixed fee whether you are there for an hour or all day, and so expensive. And it's a real pain to get out as you have to go to the farm shop, but it's closed at 12 noon, so you have to pay online AND then phone up and beg to be let out. A shoddy set up for the price and easily solved, for example, let Rustic Cafe sell the tokens or have a token dispensing machine, or have the online payment system produce an exit code.

A large reservoir, and a haven for fish and fowl. There is a pleasant circular walk, and a cafe. Popular with fishermen and walkers alike!

Beautiful place, great walks. Shame the owners of the reservoir, have dropped the water levels as they can't get there own way.

Good for families, kids and everyone. Small farm area with llamas, peacock and other animals. Extensive park area with woodlands walk, lake and walking path. Small cafe/takeaway and a restaurant on site. A gift shop selling a variety of kids products. A lovely day out.
