The Pastry Corner

I had a wonderful experience of ordering online with The Pastry Corner through email, the answers were quick and carrying. Alex did an amazing job of guiding me through the process of placing a cupcake order, he truly cared about my needs and went above and beyond to make sure I had all the correct information! The place blows your mind straight away, the aesthetics and atmosphere is breathtaking.
I did meet some members of the Pastry team when picking up the order, I was instantly greeted with a smile and the upbeat energy. You can sense they're very passionate about their work and truly care!

OMG! bought a selection of cakes for my partner's birthday. We didn't even manage to get to his birthday! We tried a bit of each the day before. Each cake was divine and indulgent. Cakes are a bit squashed as I carried them home on my bike, but that did not spoil the look or the taste.

We met with Alex and got to try some delicious cakes. Alex was extremely helpful in giving us lots of ideas as we weren’t entirely sure of what we wanted. We told Alex we loved cheesecake and she suggested we have tiered mini cheesecakes with a normal cake on top.
There were so many flavours to choose from, we were spoilt for choice.

The cakes on the day were absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious. We got lots of lovely comments on how great they looked.

Luckily for us, the cake on top was untouched at the wedding so we got to take that one home to enjoy. It was the best chocolate cake i have ever had!!

Thank you again to Alex for everything! We will hopefully be back to the shop for more cake next time we are in Southsea!

Alex baked us a beautiful wedding cake! Everything from the email enquiries, to the cake tasting, to the cake itself was a great experience! Looking forward to being a customer on the daily.

We ordered our wedding cake here and wow. It was stunning! When I came into our reception I was so blown away with how beautiful it was.
I also was completely thrilled with the amount of dairy free options!! We went for two different flavours (1) Blueberry and Vanilla, (2) Lavender and Lemon - both were delicious.
Alex is so friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend!!

From start to finish, Alex was amazing when designing and creating our wedding cake. We came to Alex way back in 2020 with a few ideas and no real preferences about our cake and she came up with some amazingly creative ideas (that we didn't even know we wanted until she put them together) which perfectly fitted in with our loose 'moon' theme. She stuck with us through three postponements due to covid and adapted things as she went due to changes in guest numbers and a few design changes along the way. Not only that, but the cake was delicious! Thanks so much to Alex and The Pastry Corner for our lovely wedding cake.

Finally got the opportunity to try out Pastry corner today having gazed longingly at the cakes many times. Tried the Biscoff cheesecake and the Opera cake (shared with husband!) Both fantastic, Biscoff cheesecake was the best cake I have eaten in a long time! Clearly great attention to detail, taste and bake quality. Friendly service. Will definitely be coming back to try the options very soon!
