Shy Mimosa Perfumery

I had heard people talking about Shy Mimosa and decided to check out. They offer a range of high quality perfumes that you will struggle to find anywhere else in Bristol. One of the perfumes I wanted was out of stock but Maria ordered this in for me and it arrived within a couple of days. On top of this, the perfume was beautifully wrapped by her (I bought the perfume for my birthday). Maria’s knowledge is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble for her.

Visited the shop after a recommendation from a friend in . The shop offers a rare collection of perfumes. What a find! Charming, unique place where you can see and feel the smells! If you are after an amazing experience with the most charming perfume guide, then treat yourself with a visit to Maria’s shop, you won’t be disappointed:-) Cant wait to go back!

When you need that little extra spoiling, you will definitely find it @shymimosa with Maria and her amazing perfumes and knowledge. If you can not visit in person, then the small samples carefully selected will visit you, which is fantastic service for people like me who live deep in the countryside. I had the most exiting aromas recommended and delivered to my door. It was not only a pleasure for my senses, but I learned such a lot from Maria on how to choose and enjoy the best the perfumery craft can offer. Finding one's signature perfume can not be more pleasurable apart from visiting the real shop next time, preferably soon 👌💃🛍

I've been trying to find a signature scent for a few years now, but I've always felt overwhelmed when shopping for perfumes on my own. I reached out to Sky Mimosa after seeing that they had a perfume I once found while traveling (which has since then eluded me), and asked if I could also receive a few other samples of scents based off some general preferences and their recommendations. I received 12 different samples, all which I loved (and 2 which I will definitely be repurchasing as they smell heavenly) and can not be happier with my decision. My only regret is that I cant visit Sky Mimosa in person as I'm in the states. Thanks Maria!

The team at Shymimosa have been so considerate and caring whilst I was arranging an exchange for some perfumery books. Maria has gone above and beyond to help me out and didn't complain at all! I highly recommend using this store as they are very professional and helpful. I will try to visit next time I am in the area!

My husband organised a personalised sensory experience as a gift for me. I loved chatting with Maria & her knowledge of all the perfumes stocked at Shy Mimosa is amazing. Maria asked me about my story & the things that I love then picked out a selection from the amazing collection in the shop. I loved them all! So unique & complex with many layers of beautiful scents, they were all nothing like my previous experience of perfumes. There was a stand-out scent that I loved the most but I left initially without a purchase, Maria encouraged me to return to the smell of my skin to see how it changed over time, before deciding on it. I felt completely looked after & did not feel pressured to buy anything. Needless to say, my favourite perfume just ‘grew on me’ & my partner returned to buy it. It is the most exquisite scent that I’ve ever owned & it is super-powerful, I only need the tiniest amount at a time.

If you are looking for niche and unique perfumes this is the place to go. Maria has great attention to detail. The packaging was lovely and I was also sent samples of other perfumes. I could tell that the samples were not just put in randomly and were based on what she thought I might like given the perfume I purchased. Will definitely make a point to visit the shop if I am ever in Bristol.
