I have put my dog in many kennels around the world and this was the worst. Smelt dirty, only a small concrete area for the dogs too exercise in and one member of staff shouted at the dogs because they were barking. Only reason it has 2 stars and not just 1 is that the girl who was there when we picked our boy up was very pleasent. Both my wife and I agreed that he will never go in there again, would rather not go on holiday or stay in the UK and go on a dog friendly one.

I brought my dog into the country through their quarantine and i was so happy with the service and level of care he received i now won't use anywhere else. The staff are all very friendly and clearly care a lot for all the animals. All the kennels seem to be maintained to a really high standard and it is just overall in my opinion the nicest kennel in the area at least.

First time in kennels for one of our dogs who is 6 years old so obviously we were very apprehensive about leaving them for the weekend. But our worries certainly weren't necessary as both dogs seemed happy & well looked after upon collection. We were shown where they were staying upon arrival & all our questions and concerns were answered. Will definitely be using again in the very near future & will be reccomending to friends

These kennels were such a disappointment. When my husband was deployed he rescued a puppy from a scrapyard, and after speaking to Pam I felt reassured that she would be in good hands for her 4 month quarantine, and we could visit. It truly was a sales pitch. After our first visit to the kennels we were disgusted. It's in a state of disrepair, there is no communication with customers (4 months of visits and not once did Pam bother coming out of the house, returning calls or emailing about our dog *though was quick to provide the bill for thousands of pounds* of the vet treatments we were readily being billed for etc) and upon collecting her from her quarantine - where she was underweight and more terrified of humans than she was on arrival - the staff member said she had no idea if she was wormed, had had flea treatment, immunisations, diet or microchipped, but all the information would be in the envelope. There was not a single sheet of paper from her time in Eyersdown, just from the charity and airline who we dealt with before. I would strongly urge you not to take your pets here.

I have used Eyersdown Kennels to board my dogs for over 10 years. My dogs are more than happy to board and excitedly jump out of the car and trot off to a shared kennel. I have always found them to be very well cared for, with no complaints.

the person i spoke to at reception was incredibly rude to myself and my disabled client whom i was supporting to collect their elderly cat. we were left waiting for almost an hour in 30°C heat and another 2 cats in the car. no communication skills whatsoever and spoke to my autistic client in an absolutely disgusting manner. they also tried to make them pay AGAIN after not even checking that we’d paid online which we had to prove to them. would not come back here again or trust them with my pets.

We went to the kennels to support a lady who was hoping to take home a Norfolk Terrier. We weren't allowed into anyyof the buildings because of Covid. The whole place was dirty but the lady who dealt with us was kind and new her stuff.

We have been boarding our dogs with Pam at Eyersdown for 20 years or so, so obviously we are very happy with the service Eyersdown offer. She and her team are very loving to the dogs. They are well looked after, and don't seem fazed at being left there.
