Pets at Home Canterbury Sturry Rd

We recently brought a puppy & I am so so impressed with the service we have received from everyone we have interacted with at pets at home. The experience and advice has been fantastic, and personal to us and our pup! We really were so impressed and surprised at such excellent service from everyone in store!

Friendly staff and vets make this my local go to for my Dogger 🐶 she loved it here, I'm happy this place exists.

My experiences are always good. The staff are. still taking safety precautions against spreading covid by everyone asked to wear masks and having one owner in the waiting room at a time. Thank you to all the staff.

Absolutely not impressed with this store at all. I came in to a “ pull lead “ for my dog. She was with me. I explained how she pulled and how she was getting when walking her. They then send over a very in experienced staff member when I asked questions and if the lead would hold my dogs weight and how strong she was they simply replied with “ maybe”. Absolutely disgusted as this is my dogs life being put at risk.

It's a good all round pet store with reasonably priced products and convenient parking, there's a vets for pets and a groomers in-store too. They have a massive range of dog toys, and a lot of dog beds but not so much for collars, leads, or bowls. You'd be better off visiting Herne Bay's independent pet store in the high street if you're looking for those! They do sometimes sell out of things and not everything is clearly labelled or priced but the staff are friendly and helpful.

Went to the shop, not the vets.
Collected some food which I had ordered online for click and collect. Food arrived next day which was good. Staff were aloof and seemed like they couldn't be bothered. Thought the prices of items in store were expensive. Good selection of stuff, just think you can get better prices and service elsewhere!
