Malcolm is a very experienced gentleman. I bought a Showa from him. Subsequently a koi I purchased from another place developed red spots. Even though they were not helpful, Malcolm went out of his way and his diagnosis was spot on.

After visiting many Koi dealers, I would gladly spend my money here knowing that his prices are very reasonable and the advice you get from Malcolm's years of experience is invaluable.

We can thoroughly recommend Malcolm at Koi Water Garden, which we discovered after years of disappointment buying fish and pond supplies from garden centres and the like, and finding the fish weren't healthy and the filters/heaters/pumps etc were poorly designed. If you've had a problem like that and want to get things right, or just want to see some really beautiful fish, do visit Malcolm - it's worth the trek down some pretty narrow country lanes!

Called in today not knowing wat to expect being honest but wow was I blown away ! A lovely gentleman with endless knowledge and the best koi I've seen! every size and colour you could need and a shop for any accessories truly a gem in the koi world

We visited after reading that fish were available from £25 but there were only 3 small white fish for £35 and everything else was £45 upwards. There were some good quality and coloured larger fish but the owner seemed preoccupied with work he was carrying out on his house and not particularly friendly or helpful. We did purchase 3 fish but the owner failed to catch the fourth that we were keen to purchase and gave up! We were extremely disappointed. Overall not a great experience and we probably wouldn't return. Buyer Koi was a different experience altogether and we will spend our money there in future.
